I was so pleased with this lumbar pillow when it arrived (I ordered it on 7/22/12). Great support, great cover and two elastic straps that allow this pillow to stay firmly attached to my home office chair. Very professional looking so I don't mind having it attached to my chair. It looks almost upholstered. I had wanted two of the pillows (one for my desk chair and one for the computer chair) but ordered the first one to be sure I liked the pillow. I loved it, so ordered a second one(7/31/12). I was stunned when it arrived; and I, without thinking, opened the celophane covering (Remember, I had already gotten one and loved it.) This is absolutely not the same pillow. The cover is quite ugly--loose and cheap looking. The inside stuffing is hard and uncomfortable. There is only one strap to hold it to the chair. I am soooo disappointed. I went back to my invoices to be sure I had ordered the same pillow. I had. I remember going into the history of my orders and chosing to reorder the same product. However, the first order was fulfilled by UNIQUE IMPORTS--great lumbar pillow. This second one was fulfilled by CIRCLE A, LLC--hugh disappointment. So I will caution you to look carefully at the seller (it did not occur to me that this was necessary).So, sadly, I am giving an excellent product a one-star rating to caution future buyers to be very thorough when ordering. I am going to call Amazon and see if I can return this and get one like my first ordered from UNIQUE IMPORTS.Just called Amazon. They are so great to work with. They are allowing a return and are helping me find the correct pillow. Love this company. They started an e-mail discussion between Mike (Unique Imports) and myself. Mike said to check back on Amazon the end of August and they should have this pillow offered for sale again. I did just that, found it August 22 and ordered two more of them (after verifying with Unique Imports, by phone this time, that this was indeed the same pillow I got the first time I ordered). I had my packing slip from my first order showing a description with the number (AG-5AGN-7FX3) under it and asked the rep I spoke with if this was correct. He wanted my original order number, which I had. He assured me I would be getting the same pillow.Now, to describe this pillow. It is black, of course, with firm support. It has two non-adjustable straps across the back (they are generous enough for my office chair [17" across the back, 3" thick] and I wanted non-adjustable--the adjustable ones just don't seem to stay put. There is a Velcro opening in the back, but I honestly don't know why unless this turns out to be washable. I suppose, also, if it ever breaks down, you could take whatever is in the inside out and replace it. The cover has a nice, tailored faux-leather upholstered look. So now I have three of these. Two for the office and one for dear husband's recliner (bad back) and will order more (from Unique Imports only--through Amazon) if ever I need them. Also, and a big ALSO!! I order these last two pillows August 22, 2012. They actually arrived today, August 25, 2012. Now that is impressive--all the way from California to the middle of the country. Great service Unique Imports. My back thanks you.Don't hesitate to order this supportive lumbar pillow. We are pleased. I, also, changed my original 1 star rating to a 5 star.

After receiving a brand new high back leather office chair from Amazon, which by the way I love and wrote a glowing review, I realized after several days of use that the fixed angle of the seat back was not quite (about 2 inches short of) upright enough when it came to the upright posture I need and prefer for my typing at the computer keyboard sliding desk shelf. Sitting back or leaning back in the chair was excellent. However when it came to sitting upright for typing at my computer, the seatback was about 2 inches short of even touching my back. To fill in that gap I of course had to consider a vast variety of seat back supports. The considerable array of possibles made the decision pretty iffy.My chair is black leather. This cushion is of course not leather, but it is of a silky black and sturdy nylon material that blended right in with the look of my fine leather chair. My chair is a full high back, and the expandable strap barely but indeed adequately fit very firmly and securely around the seatback. Even though the cushion filled that upright gap perfectly at first, I waited thru an entire week of use before making this review, just to make sure of its initial wonderfulness. It is wonderful. It's secure and attractively blends with the black leather as though it were almost part of the chair. In other words, it does not detract from the classy look of my leather office chair. There were a lot ways to go wrong with filling my gap, but with this choice, I lucked out!The only bad is not bad enough to subtract a star. There is indeed a chemical aroma produced by this cushion. I tried to ignore it for a couple of days but it persisted. I went to the cupboard and grabbed my spray bottle of Febreze. 24 hours later no problemo. Oh by the way, I am disabled due to my severe back problems so I must also vouch for the effective slope and plane of this cushion's shape. I highly recommend it.

Ok let me say, that when I first purchased this lumbar support cushion, I really didn't like it at all. It was not comfortable for my back, and the expanding band to secure it in place did not fit around my desk chair. I decided I would wait to review it because a co-worker advised me to wait a bit and see if I could break it in. I was comparing it to one that my co-worker had, which was VERY comfy, but she had had hers for a while, and had probably broken it in to the shape of her back.After a week or two, I began to really love the support cushion, when people would sit on my chair, they would comment on how comfy it was. Needless to say, I love it know.My only problem with this cushion is that the expanding band that is suppose to go around the chair is too small, it won't fit around it. Either my chair is really big, or they need to make one with a bigger elastic band. Although, I should mention that some of the others reviewers also had this problem. As a result of the band not being able to secure the lumbar cushion in place, it is always shifting and sometimes falling off my chair; it can get a bit annoying at times, but aside from that, I would definitely recommend this to someone who does not have a very wide office chair.
