Durvet 3-Pack Nu Stock Ointment

A month ago I had noticed a small red patch on my dogs' jawline (below the left ear). When I went to pull his hair back to get a closer look, I noticed that it was bloody red. I gasped because I had never seen anything like it. In fact to be honest this is my first dog that I actually had any part in caring for... Well I went right to google and found out that my dog had a "Hot spot." I also found that I could use Peroxide, Borax, and water and that would do the trick....WRONG!!!! I think that I nearly killed my baby because he was very lethargic which now made me even more afraid. I went to a local animal hospital and told them what I had discovered and what I did, I also told them how afraid my dog was of Vets and they prescribed him 3 ACE tablets for me to give him and then to come back! WHAT?!!! That would have killed my dog for sure!So after about a week or so went by I noticed that Simba had mange along with hundreds of red bumps all over him (he looked like he had chicken pox and measles) this was a little too much than I could handle so I went to Amazon and typed up my problem and there before me were hundreds of reviews for this product Nu-Stock and I figured if hundreds of people can testify to this being a great product for their animals, why shouldn't I give it a try before going back to the vet with a doped up dog? Well let me tell you after a couple of applications the 'hot spot' had begun showing signs of healing and now to date he is completely healed of that. I am also noticing that after changing his diet and continuing to apply Nu-stock over the mange and the red bumps, I can now see that his hair is growing back where the mange had been; and the red bumps are drying up. This has been a long and arduous process...I will not say it's been easy for either him or me. So to those of you wanting to use this product, it is highly worth it, however, you must remember complete healing doesn't always happen over night, it takes research, patience, continual application of this product and following directions to a tee...but it's worth you sticking in there for your dog, cat, or horse. I'm so glad I did it for Simba. I know that he's glad too!

OK! First of all the cream works, but you must follow a set of rules because the cream does have a distinctive smell to it, but it is not terrible. The smell to me is like a really strong Icy Hot or Vicks (it will open up your nostrils, lol). So what I do is shower my dog let him get completely dry and right before bedtime rub NuStuck all over the areas needed, then I put some doggy clothes on him to cover those areas that have the ointment on, and then kennel him for the night. After the ointment dries the smell is almost gone and none bothersome at all. I repeated after 3 days (per package instructions) and may only have to repeat once because it works!! He looks so so so much better with just one application. I wear gloves to apply. Not allowed on couches while the medicine is on to avoid the smell on my furniture.He has food-related allergies and gets a red/itchy chest that smells yeasty because he scratches it so much that it gets bloody and yucky.FYI: I have been to the vet, change his diet, otc meds, etc. Nothing has worked.

Now it pours out with the oils and makes a huge mess before you get to the sulfur paste. I have to squeeze the whole tube into a container and mix it up now, whereas I didn't used to before the company was apparently bought out. As a remedy, it is still good but I feel there are changes that are not positive.

Been trying to find something to help my dog's feet for years. Used all kinds of things from all kinds of places. Allergy pills from the vet included. This is the first thing that has made a real difference.

This is the only thing that works on her when she gets either rain rot or the break outs from the sun. She's also allergic to tick bites, this doesn't really do much for them but wound coat from tsc does

Once again thanks a lot for a prompt, hassle free dealing,As far as the effectiveness of the ointment is concerned I would like to add the followingMy dog "Rocky" is 5 yrs old and German shepherd by breed. The Vet Doctor diagnosed the condition as affected by mange and is unable to pinpoint the type of mange.I purchased this ointment after reading your product manual which states that it is effective against all types of mange. At least it is not as effective as desired on my case as itching has not subsided. May be that this ointment is not that effective on my dog.Pl go through the uploaded photo any suggestions are highly appreciated.Thanks

The best all around go to product for dogs and horses. The only limitation you have is trying it out if it works, I can tell you that will work.
