Integra Lifescience Medihoney Paste Dressing, 1.5 fl oz Tube, Applicator 31515

I got a terrible sore on my ankle when I fell in my garden. I ended up needing surgery and debridement. The wound was about the shape of a small lemon, and about a quarter inch deep, I had blood clots and an infection which had to be removed. Recovery is still ongoing, nothing was working until we tried Medihoney. I'm happy to say, that the although wound still has a long way to go, but it is now healing from the inside out, which is what we wanted. It doesn't stay in place unless you put gauze over it and then a bandage or wrapping. It doesn't absorb, but works on top of the wound to clean and heal. It's a little messy to use because it actually has honey in it, so it's sticky. But it's magic! I hope you never "need" it, but if you do, you'll love it!

Great product for healing, but note the pictures… I was surprised that there is a good bit of the product left inside of the tube and the lid when you can’t squeeze anymore out of it. I cut them in half and used mini cosmetic spatulas (like the “Spatty” to scrape the tubes and lids out. I cleaned out 6 tubes/lids and nearly filled a 2 oz. jar with the extra! That’s more than a whole large (1.5 oz.) tube! Saved myself $20! Otherwise… I highly recommend the product… works great!

I’m 100% convinced honey is the best way to heal wounds effectively. It’s rarely used in the medical profession but no professions are harder to make positive changes It’s easier for doctors to crank out appointments rather than care about your health. They don’t care.

This product is without overstating, a life saver. At least for me, the Pharmacy could not get it, but I was able to get this product here. It's not for everyone, but it's better to have it and not need it than to need it and not have it.

Worked great for my Dad, he feels his wound healed quicker! My Brother just ordered some as well for road rash after a bike crash. Yep it’s a little pricey but it works, so I can’t complain!
