My kitten is 8 months old and between 6-7lbs. I got her the xsmall, it fits good and is adjustable..so I doubt she'll griw out of it. She is a lanky skinny girl, but I could see this working on a more chunky kitty too. Leash is light wiehtlight and nice. This harness is super well made. It's seems heavy duty, but not heavy and still breathable. Also my cat has asthma and this seems to distribute the pulling so it's not all on her chest...seems very gentle on her. I doubt she'll need a new one anytime soon, but I can totally see buying another color one day. I got the bright pink, it's bright and cute! Do not hesitate it buy this one!

We love it, kitty can enjoy going outside without my having to worry about coyotes mountain lions now. She's almost 2 and on the smaller side so size small is actually a little large but worth some adjustments it fits perfectly. Nice bright color, cat seems to like it and getting it on and off is a breeze. Leash is long enough for her to explore too. Well made and well worth it.

My smaller cat noodle wiggles into and out of everything, this says escape proof - nope! He wormed his way out of this one too. The neck doesn't adjust as much as I need it to, my cats neck is quite small and it's still a bit big. He seems more comfortable in it because it's thicker and has the air able to go through (versus the single nylon strip harness') He walks great on it, but don't buy this for it's 'escape proof' since that's faulty.

Great productOur 1 year old mainecoon boy is pretty large in size. I bought the extra small due to the comments about it not being “escape proof” the neck is snug and has to go on nose first. Once on it fits well with room and not restriction. The body clasps I initially left on the widest point however there is elastic stretch built in here. I have since tightened them up. So he doesn’t slip out of it. A really good snug fit with no restriction on movement or discomfort. Our boy was still able to hop, leap and jump through the garden safely. We currently use a retractable lead for more freedom. The lead that comes with the harness isn’t to our taste. Thanks for such a great product !!!
