Ted (Zac Efron): handsome, smart, charismatic, affectionate. Liz (Lily Collins): a single mother, cautious, but smitten. A picture of domestic bliss, the two seem to have it all figured out, that is until Ted is arrested and charged with a series of increasingly grisly murders. As concern turns to paranoia, Liz is forced to consider how well she knows the man she shares a life with and, as the evidence piles up, decide if Ted is truly a victim, or actually guilty as charged.Bonus Feature: Behind the Scenes Special

A great true story serial killer movie
I've seen the argument that this "glamorises" Ted Bundy which couldn't be further from the truth; this movie simply shows what we the public saw and knew of Tedy Bundy. Of which Zac Efron gives an award worthy performance as in this movie, as does Lilly Collins.Would you rather they lied and fictionalized depictions of the heinous acts that Bundy commited? No because then you would complain about that too, so theres no winning. At the end of the day, despite a few liberties, this is a great movie that gives a great depiction of what we knew and saw of Ted Bundy.

A disturbing glossy feel movie that tries to give credence for an evil serial killer
Zac Efron's acting is excellent in this true character role of serial murderer Ted Bundy, however, I feel as though the entire premise of the movie was to give an unnecessary gloss to an insane, serial killer that wickedly utilised his charismatic beguiling charms to lure women to their death at his evil murderous hands.I feel that the film tries to capture the realism of what happened, but the gloss of treating a serial killer in such a way brings a very unsettling level of trying to feel sorry for a man that was pure evil

Great Watch
We loved it. Well produced and Z.E. is wonderful as Bundy. Very watchable indeed! More a 'What does a monster look like and act like?', thought provoking cautionary tale for all. How Bundy was spoken to by the judge when he sentenced him, is a most repugnant truth shown in the film. How the veneer of respectability and charm, along with a good education, can lead to a judge of 23years praise and commiserate with a mass murderer of women and a child...well, shocking and breathtaking!

Fanzine movie. Sympathetic towards Bundy. Not a good attitude to have
Ok acting from Zac Efron. Can’t help but think the movie leans more towards sympathising with Bundy. Takes on a kind of fanzine attitude towards what was undoubtedly some of the worse murders in modern history. I think the movie was trying to portray a sense of ‘it could be your neighbour next door’ for shock value but missed the mark. For that reason, I’m not a fan of this movie. It was actually quiet boring. Needed “something”. Light movie, no gravitas.

Worth the wait
I actually waited ages and ages before I could see this film. It was well worth the wait if you’re into serial killers and the stories behind them! BTW Zach Efron played the part brilliantly.

Underrated
Underrated! Efron deserves a Golden Globe or Oscar nomination.

Interesting
Zac Efron is excellent. You don't learn anything new about Bundy but it's well acted nonetheless.

It was ok
I loved the actors and the theme but having seen the original Ted Bundy movie, this one just didn't compare. It was a bit bare and minimal really.
