Sunlite MX3 BMX Tires

I am very happy I was able to find these tires on Amazon! I went to every bike store and back-yard bike fixers I could find within a 30 mile radius.... this included all the bike shops in my state's capital, which is known for it's bike enthusiasts! I COULD NOT FIND this size tire!! I was flabbergasted! We had purchased a Cinderella bike for my daughter for her third birthday and we just couldn't find the tires to finish fixing it up. Well! I found this tire and purchased 2 of them hoping they would be the right fit since it was my only option - especially in white.I just have to say these tires made my daughter's birthday! She was SOOO excited and yelled "my bike! my bike!" They looked like they came with the bike, brand new, white tires... oh it was great seeing her so happy and it was worth every penny to give her that bike.Now, we haven't had her riding her bike a lot yet because she is only 3, but they have held up the whole summer without any punctures or deflation.

Tread pattern is the same and the quality seems good. Original tires were totally worn out. Little guy was totally psyched to have new shoes on his whip.

I ordered this as a replacement for my daughters bicycle from a well known toy store (the original tires lasted only a few months). This one seems like it will last a long time and looks great on the bike, however it was extremely hard to put on to the point where I had to take the wheels to a bike shop to have them installed, very, VERY tight fit. Expect to pay a little extra to have the work done, so a new bicycle might be worth it.I am taking one star due to the very slow shipping time from this vendor. I never had to wait so long for an item from Amazon before, so be prepared to wait.

Fit right, color correct, last long. Price is right.

First of all the tires are great. Easy to install and very aggressive. My kid loves them. Second. My first shipment was lost. I was not happy. However Shane at planet Cyclery was very responsive when I messaged him and sent a replacement package that arrived fast. Then the next day after it arrived, the lost shipment arrived(figures). The process took longer than I planned but the feedback is good because they took care of it as best as they could.

For those looking for a tire to put tread on a Power Wheels Jeep or whatever, I'll confirm this tire is a perfect fit. Once you cut the sidewalls off, you can slide this onto the plastic wheel in one piece (with a little bit of effort, nothing extreme) No lateral cuts across the tread required. I can also confirm you will need to secure it to the wheel somehow to prevent it sliding off the side. I considered a glue like Shoe Goo but the kid wouldn't wait for that to cure and it'd be a huge mess. I did use 6 smallish screws with wide heads on each wheel. The kid can pop wheelies now that he's got traction!

It's not easy to install new tires on bikes as it is even for cyclists. I am also pretty skilled having done it a few times but I'm only knocking off 1 start because these were particularly harder and unless you already have the tire tools and some strength as well as some patience I can't give them a perfect 5 of 5. Regardless, the tires themselves are exactly what I needed and they seem to wear just fine.
