Maroo Microsoft Surface 3 Executive Case - Premium Black Leather, Compatible with Microsoft Type Cover for Surface 3, Stylus Holder, Kickstand

I purchased my surface 3 only for note taking in meetings - it looks like you are not paying attention when you are typing in onenote during a presentation. And while I'm proud to be the "cool" one up on technology - I also didn't want to be so blatantly flashy about it and just plop down in a chair with my tablet on display. This is an awesome solution. I take my "folio notepad" to every meeting and then when needed flip it open and take some notes - goes back closed when i'm done. Every one still sees the cool technology but its more refined. I do not use the keyboard attachment with this folio, but did test it out and works well and still fits inside. The "leather" or whatever it is does not look cheap or weird. Could easily be a more expensive item.

This was purchased as a replacement for a similarly priced case that required the tablet portion of the Surface to be inserted into a leather "frame" that had cutouts for ports, cords, etc.The Maroo case is 2000% better than a another case that I'd previously purchased for my husband's Surface 3. The Maroo has a thicker padded front and the tablet fits snugly into 4 gripping corners of an "X" frame. This leaves ALL of the plug ins, buttons, etc., completely exposed and easy to use, whereas the leather cut-out frame of the previous case blocked the power cord plug [that previous cover also warped and the kickstand was flimsy]. The kickstand on the Maroo is extremely sturdy and better supports the tablet. Two elastic corner bands hold the keyboard in place, and the case closes easily with the keyboard attached.This was a gift for my husband because he's thrown out the earlier case---and was holding up the tablet with one hand while he typed with the other. We're both delighted with this purchase!

Very nice fits. Feels good and looks good. The keyboard works with the product. The only negative is that you have to take the keyboard off to wrap the cover around in a tablet mode. Not sure there is any better way of doing it, engineering-wise. I like it so much I will probably buy a second. Price is ridiculously cheap.

Very nice looking cover for my Surface. Fits well even with my optional keyboard attached. The stand works just like the stand on the back of the Surface. In all, gives me the added protection I was looking for.

As always I do a lot of research on products before buying a product. This Maroo surface case was an excellent choice for my Surface!It's leather, the stitching is great. It holds my surface securely, looks elegant. There is a pretty good review on YouTube but doesn't really do justice to this very fine product.

CHEAP CRAP. DON'T BUY unless your on a budget. Even if you are on a budget opt for a poly carbon fiber stick on cover. It looks way better and buy a breifcase or slip case to put this in. This maroo case is bulky and crappy.

This is a great genuine leather case for the Surface 3. Maroo has great products. I purchased this exact case one almost two years ago and with my daily use of the Surface, this case still shows zero wear and tear. I saw in Oct 2016 that an Amazon seller (Galatics) had a special on this and had to purchase it again, just to have a spare. It is just that great of a product. It does add weight to the Surface, but I do not mind that since it keeps my tablet from being damaged. Well worth the original price, so Galatics' special price is just a bonus.

Compre la funda pensanda que era cuero verdadero como lo menciona el anunciante de este producto pero a mi gran sorpresa es cuero sintentico y no de primera calidad como lo estipula el anuncio.

La custodia è bella e ripara egregiamente, ma ha qualche difetto: primo, nel Surface 3 la fotocamera non è centrale mentre il foro della custodia lo è, di conseguenza nelle foto l'obiettivo è coperto per 1/4 della visuale. Secondo, si è costretti a togliere la tastiera per la modalità tablet, perché se si prova a girarla dietro come si fa di solito con le Type Cover si stacca da sola in modo brutale, quindi poi va appoggiata da qualche altra parte senza protezione. Terzo, le "maniche integrate" per la Surface Pen vanno bene giusto per i pennini di un Galaxy Note ( quelle dietro sotto il foro della fotocamera ), mentre quella interna è troppo attaccata e non c'è lo spazio sufficiente per infilare la penna dentro.Certo è che con cotanta custodia mi sento più sicuro ad appoggiarlo in giro.

I needed a leather case that would protect my Surface 3 when taking it out of the house and bought this case. I am very pleased with my purchase.The fit is perfect with rubber corner grips holding it in place. The leather looks and feels good, making the tablet look very smart. Be aware that the case includes some padding and seems to have inserts to provide additional rigidity. This adds to the protection offered, but also adds to the weight. The case will also accommodate the Type Cover, but by this time you are well aware of the combined weight being similar to a normal laptop.The kickstand works fine and there are two elasticated pen holders, so it is easy and safe to take your Surface Pen with you.

This is a great little case with the added benefit of the rear stand which is very useful. Very nice, rich blue colour & looks good quality leather
