Scroll frame
Fame cheaply made. Wing nuts did not tighten. Wood was split.

Nice frame, but…
The hardware is faulty. Only one wingnut worked. The rest are way too loose and won’t thread on. I’ll have to hit the hardware store before I can use it :(Update: contacted company to replace parts. Just received them in the mail and they work perfectly!

Not a quality product....Will be returning!
I have a larger frame from the same manufacturer that is almost 20 years old. It is sturdy and well made. This frame is not the same quality. The wood is very soft and not well finished. The dimensions do not list the size of fabric you can actually put in the frame. When I inserted fabric in the frame it put sawdust everywhere. The wing nuts stripped immediately on 2 of the bolts. I didn't try to tighten the other two.

Not the quality I expected - doesn't work well
The wood isn't finished, meaning after it was cut and drilled, it was not sanded. Lots of wood/splinters flaked off during setup and onto my project (even after I thought I had brushed everything loose off). Some of the provided wing nuts didn't even fit right; some won't stay tight and one immediately falls off.The scroll does not keep the project tight.I don't recommend this product.

Overall it's a great product and very reasonably priced
I had a very small bit of difficulty putting it together because the holes weren't completely sanded, but ultimately I got it to work just fine and it was clear sailing after that. Great for those larger or more labor-intensive cross stitch and other needlework projects. A little bit of sanding in the holes to smooth them out a bit might have helped, but I managed to do just fine with a little "umph" here and there.

Works exactly as expected!
I am working on a needlepoint canvas, kind of small. This particular frame is working exactly as expected. Thank you!

Buy your own hardware
The wingnuts were utter garbage! They were stamped metal, so bent and stripped out as soon as any tension was applied. So I can't give it any higher than a 3 star. Now if you are a little handy get real wingnuts or drill some tapped holes in some scrap wood.Otherwise this is great for a beginner
