This brush is awesome and the design was what caught my eye. My husky always makes a pissy face and tries to escape whenever I brush her. I have about 4 other different styles of brushes and she tolerates some more than others. But when I tried the Lumo on her tonight, at first she resisted but after a couple of mintues she actually laid down on her own and lifted her back leg! So initial thought is that she actually liked the feel of this brush running through her coat. I read somewhere that another reviewer complained that it hurt their dog's underside. My comment to that would be that they should be using less pressure when brushing the underside cause my dog had zero problems when I brushed her there. This brush feels very sturdy, the mechanism for releasing the fur is very easy to use and I think this helps reduce time spent cleaning the brush each time before the next round of brushing. The teeth are all stationary so they don't spin like your traditional rake brush. But that wasn't a problem, it never got caught in my dog's coat and she's a siberian husky. Her butt fluff was easily brushed out. I was able to brush her in the same and opposite directions in which her fur grows without any pulling. This brush is definitely an investment cause even I don't have brushes that expensive for my own hair but it was definitely well worth it because you can tell that the company put a lot of thought into their design and quality. You get what you pay for. I purchased the brush with the yellow tab for the long double coated dogs and I love the fact that they have a husky on the package cover for this one.

WOW! This is fantastic on husky fur. The photo is just from his tail and hind legs! We’ve tried every brush but this is by far the best.The brush is flexible but very sturdy. It doesn’t get stuck or pull. It is important to follow the directions and start back to front. The fur becomes unmanageable (and you will be covered!) and isn’t easily caught in the brush.It’s kind of awkward to pull the tab to release the fur but I found it quite easy to pull fur out. Trust me, there will be so much that it just pulls out in one clump!Cleanup is super easy. It keeps the fur tight so it doesn’t easily blow around or out of a bag. Be careful around the ears. We regularly brush him but I didn’t expect the huge amounts that came out just at the base of the ears!If your pooch is super fluffy around the head like ours, I would suggest using 2 hands. While the brush doesn’t pull, depending on how thick the fur is, the brush might get sort of stuck. I found that holding fur back with one hand while brushing below (like a tangle in your hair) worked best.Have the vacuum ready!

I have gone from a non shedding dog household to include a big time shedder!! Great Pyrenees pup!This brush is a bit clumsier for me to handle, but with practice I hope to master!!

Works well to keep snarls out of my Great Pyrenees double coat. I have one with the true thick double coat. She hates brushing and does better with this one.

You have to hold this at a certain angle to work. Cannot do a side sweep like a comb. Didn't work on my Long hair cats.

This brush is an all in one miracle!!! Our dog has more grooming tools than we do and he and I both hate the brushing process. A friend recommended this brush and I am so glad I bought it! Finished brushing in half the time, got more hair than usual and didn’t need anything beyond the brush to take care of his whole body! AND the teeth holds on to the hair until I clean it and I wasn’t covered in hair when I was done. The only thing I wish was different is the placement of the handle with the brush, but that is a me issue that I can correct with practice. I am going to recommend this brush over and over!!!

Product didn’t perform as advertised my border collie hates his hair brushed and I tried the brush and he immediately tried to bite brush and after a few stroke there was hardly any hair where my other collection of brushes rakes at least fill up with hair as you brush advertised on Facebook for $29.95 but when you click on it to buy shows $39.95 definitely not word the money

The brush is a bit heavy so I need to be careful and gentler when brushing my Shih Tzu. It does really go right through tangles and matts. So the brush fell off the bathroom sink and I could not believe the yellow tab on the top just snapped off. Its just a hard plastic so it makes sense. But im really bummed and wisj they were made with a rubber type pull for the furr release. not going tobuy another but would appreciate a replacement. Well see.
