Brother WT320CL, Black

My office uses a Brother HL-L8360CDW printer for our colour printing needs. The outgoing office manager had purchased off-brand printer cartridges the past two refills; and the printer was beginning to streak and place errant dots of mismatched colours throughout pages. Additionally, it would lag between every two printed pages, and sometimes take up to five minutes just to begin printing. We replaced the cartridges with genuine brother toner, only to have the same effect persist. In disassembling the printer entirely; I discovered this component - completely jammed full of ink dust.I suspect that if we had used genuine cartridges; the previous waste toner box could simply have been cleaned and emptied. As it was, we erred on the side of caution and replaced this entirely. Considering the cost of replacing the ink cartridges themselves, this is a relatively insignificant expense.The printer has worked as if it was new since replacing this part, no issues at all.

So, I didn't know I needed to replace the toner waste box until my copies came out with black streaks and black smudges. I thought the toners were the problem. However, when I opened the printer to clean, I noticed that the toner waste box was completely full. And there really is no other method than to get a new one to replace it. It's messy, and it can't be emptied. Once the new one arrive and I replaced it, the copies came out perfectly clean. It did the job.

this product arrived open and used. the sponge roller has blue ink on it and the indicator is in the middle not at the top.I need this badly so I will keep it .

I finally got to open the box to change te WT-320CL and found out that I received an USED part. It was very dirty and scratched. Now, it's too late to return or complain. I suggest you check your returns before reselling. This was definitely an used part.

Brother makes maintenance so easy. This is another of their forward thinking maintenance parts that can be done without tools and without paying a service tech.
