VELUXZCT 300 Skylight 6-10 Ft. Manual Telescoping Control Rod for Operation of Venting Skylights

So the box arrived SMASHED but luckily there was enough room inside it that the contents seems to be OK.

We needed this product for opening some skylights in our loft. It works for that purpose, but it arrived with the box smashed and product dented and bent. Please see photos. We decided not to send it back because that’s a hassle, and my husband was able to modify it by cutting it off at the bend to make it useful. However, it would’ve been nice to at least be able to receive a partial refund. The same product was cheaper if ordered outside Amazon.

I have three Velex skylights. Two are in a vaulted ceiling, and one in the bathroom, where there is a much lower ceiling. I wanted a telescoping rod for each room, since a longer length is needed for the kitchen and it was tricky to negotiate doorways with it. In my opinion, the Velex brand is the best. I was really happy to find this one.

This product was the perfect solution for the issue I had for opening and closing the window awning that I installed. The control rod that came with the awning I purchased was not long enough due to the height of the awnings placement. The VELUX ZCT 300 Skylight 6-10 Ft. telescoping control rod was perfect and as a really satisfying factor; the price was reasonable and the materials used in its fabrication guarantees years of service. I'm extremely satisfied with this purchase.

Easy to assemble and use.

We added a shade to our patio which needed a longer pole to unwind. It works perfectly.
