These liberty slides work great. I build cabinets
These liberty slides work great. I build cabinets, dressers, and tables, and other furniture for people that want better quality that what you buy in the store and people who want their furniture to be more personalized. So I go through a lot of these ball bearing drawer slides. When i first started out I tried many different brands of ball bearing drawer slides, but settled on these as my go to for many different reasons. These slides are quality made and perform well for the price. They are always consistent in the quality. Meaning I dont have to worry about missing screws or bent rails when i buy them unlike some other brands I have used. A big deciding factor in making these slides my go to is that they are stocked in all sizes and even in the soft close slides at the 2 home depots in my city, which is usually where I buy them from. Only reason I ordered these on amazon this time is because I needed them to finish garage cabinets I built for a customer. Someone purchased all the 16 inch drawer slides from the home depots in my area and so they had none available. I highly recommend these, but then again they are my own preferred slides to use. There are many other brands out there. Reading some of the reviews some people do not like these slides, but I have literally used hundreds of these slides over the years and have never had a problem with them other than my own mistakes in installing them. The best way to install these slides is to ignore the directions that are provided with them. The directions that come with these slides just makes it complicating to install them. Using a center line is the best and fastest way to install these. How I usually do it is. I will measure 1 1/2 inches up from the bottom of the drawer and using a straight edge mark a line across the drawer at those marks. It does not matter how far up you measure on your drawer as long as you remember that number because you will need it. Then i line the center of the mounting holes up with that line and secure the rails in place. on the work piece itself I will measure from the top of the cabinet to how ever deep my drawers are plus the amount of space I want between the lip of the cabinet and the top of the drawer. Then subtract what ever number you used when mounting the rail to the drawer itself and make a mark. For instance. Remember I measured up from the bottom of the drawer 1 1/2 inches. Lets say my drawer has a depth of 6 inches and I want the top of the drawer to sit 1/4 inch from the lip of the cabinet. So I will measure down from the lip 6 1/4 inches then subtract the 1 1/2 inch from 6 1/4 leaving me with 4 3/4. So I make a mark at 4 3/4. Using a square and or straight edge I drawer a line from the mark and line the center of the mounting holes of the rail up with that mark and secure it in place. This method makes for fast and accurate drawer slide installs every time. This method also works well when measure from the bottom of the cabinet. Its actually even easier measuring from the bottom of the cabinet. Determine how the distance you want between the bottom of the drawer and the bottom of the cabinet. Add the distance you want from the bottom of the cabinet to the bottom of the drawer to the measurement you used on the drawer itself. Then measure that distance from the bottom of the cabinet and make a mark. So as before I mounted the center of my rail on the drawer 1 1/2 inches from the bottom of the drawer. So lets say I want 1/8 inches of clearance between the bottom of my drawer and the bottom of the cabinet. I will add 1/8 to 1 1/2. Giving me 1 5/8. So I measure up from the bottom of the cabinet 1 5/8. Use a square and straight edge to drawer a line. Again line the center of the mounting holes up with the line and secure it in place. It works ever time.If you are going to be building a lot of drawers using these slides. Come up with a standard distance you use when mounting the rail to the drawers. So whether the drawer is 3 inches deep or 9 inches deep. Use that same distance from the bottom of the drawer. This just gives you a measurement that will always be the same when you mount the drawer slide rail to the cabinet. Much easier than always trying to account for a different measure on the drawer itself.

Worked great for replacing craftsman toolbox drawer slides
Fit perfect and all I had to do was rivet them on the inside of the drawer and the tool box. Feel like pretty heavy duty quality as compared to the original ones that broke from craftsman.

Smooth and solid
I’m progressively replacing all of the drawer slides in my kitchen and have tried a few different modes and brands. These Liberty slides hit the sweet spot for me. They are substantial enough to handle the two drawers that I have stacked with pots and skillets smoothly and with ease. They have a positive stop and lock close when pushed all of the way in. They’re not soft/auto close which I prefer. I’ve installed a few soft close slides on other smaller drawers and find them less smooth and somewhat more finicky to install. All in all these slides are substantial, smooth and easy to install. I’ll but using these Liberty slides for the rest of the larger drawers in my kitchen.

Good quality for the price; Easy installation
The bearing race in the old glides in my office desk center drawer broke after thirty years. I was not too upset because the old ones were not full extension, and it was a real pain to get to stuff in the back of my drawer.I like these a lot. They have a firm close so the drawer doesn't bounce back, slightly open. They are reasonably smooth, and are as smooth as the ones I replaced. That said, I have used drawer glides that were a little smoother, but cost five times what these cost, so I won't reduce the rating because of that. For the price, these are amazing. The quality of construction looks pretty good. My old glides used a piece of plastic for the bearing race, and that is what finally fatigued and broke. These have a proper metal race to hold the bearings. The instructions made the installation seem a little more complicated that it needed to be. Basically, all you do is fasten one part of the glide to the drawer, making sure it is evenly aligned with the bottom edges of the drawer, with the front butted up to the back of the door front. You then add the outside glides piece, stick the drawer into the cabinet or desk, and then make sure the glide is level, and the proper distance from the back.Speaking of level, I installed these in my desk, and the floor on which it stands is not quite level. Therefore, I had to install the glides to the same amount of "unlevelness" as the desk, in order the glides to be parallel to the various parts of the desk. No big deal, but it is something you might not think about.

Smooth, easy to install, strong
Used these for a large (4' x 2') keyboard in a custom desk, works like a charm, easy to install. Inner slides can be removed easily without hazard of losing ball bearings, easy to reinstall once mounted.

Has some added strength the others do not have
Used these to replace some heavily loaded dresser drawer slides which failed laterally. Liberty's are a little larger, heavier, and have superior strength to the many others I have purchased over the years. Perfect fit and smooth action. Well worth the minimal added cost.

Bought this to Replace a Sliding Keyboard Shelf on a Desk & it Worked!
Bought a desk 8 years ago and it was Solid Wood, but the bracket on the sliding keyboard shelf broke. I was struggling on what to do and saw this bracket on Amazon. Did the Measurements and it seemed like a fit.I installed it and it works great. It's a very heavy duty bracket, except for the total release clip, which is plastic. Otherwise everything is metal and it has some heft to it. Warning - it's easier to install with 2 people, but didn't take long and I'm not the greatest handyman. Just make sure your drawer or shelf is the correct width for the sliding bracket and it works like a charm. It's actually heavier duty than the original.

Work as advertised, good quality drawer slides.
Worked great until I transported new cabinets with drawer slides on a dusty cottage road. By time I got to cottage drawer slides were full of dirt and grit...note to self, cover any cabinets during transportation! Apart from this, slides are easy to install and work great.

very smooth gliding
had to replace a damaged set of sliders on a high-end desk ... these were fairly easy to install and just as good as the original. Very good construction and great performance. Highly recommended.

Good value.
I used these slides to make a slide out tray for my midi keyboard. They work very well, quite sturdy. They do not have a lock out when pulled out but I knew that when I ordered. I will rig up some kind of lock eventually to hold the tray out solid when playing the keyboard
