Cruzilles Pâtes de Fruits d’Auvergne Imported Assorted French Fruit Jelly Candies in Metal Tin (Assorted, 11.6oz)

These are very delicious. Much like concentrated jam. Apple, apricot, strawberry, peach, great flavors.

This was a gift for a friend and she was sooo happy to receive it.She told me they were her favorite. I cannot personally comment on the flavor but from her smile I can only surmise that they are awesome candies.

I first encountered these at "Comptoir Richards" in Paris. They were housed in a colorful yellow tin container and literally burst with fresh fruit flavor. I enjoyed them very much. The next year I returned to Paris, the store had none to purchase. Oh well, I'll get them the next time, I thought. I was pleased to know, however, that I could purchase them on line. There were considerably more expensive this way, but worth it. The color of the container was not the same (a light violet shade), and they were clearly not as fresh as those in Paris, but they were, nevertheless, enjoyable. Until I return, these are a pleasant substitute.

My daughter after vacationing in France, came back, and told me about fruit jellies she experienced were remarkable. Laughing, we bought a bag in Paris and traveled throughout France with them years ago.For New Year’s Eve, after testing and quarantining my daughter came home for the weekend and I surprised her with these jellies. Brought in 2021 with something sweet for new year with high hopes.Pricy? Yes. Worth every penny? Yes.Authentic, every flavor. We sat and discussed which was our favorite, cassis or ? 😉 You decide. Sadly I’ve wasted over $40. on some junk in a nice tin. While the tin wasn’t dented as many reported theirs were, the fruit jellies are terrible, inedible. They are dried up lumps of sugar, barely a flavor of fruit or the soft bite you’ve come to love. Don’t waste your money. Whoever is selling these is cheating the public and it’s probably why they aren’t returnable. You’re out of luck and disappointed like many of us who took a chance on having some real French fruit jellies and only receiving stale ones you can only throw away. What a rip off.

Very expensive but worth every penny. Flavors true to the fruits and like the fact that the flavors come from real fruit purees.

Today May 19 2023 I get my package with the Cruzilles Pates de fruits to find out that it’s shelf life expired 2 month ago in March. Candies itself hard like a rock and has no flavor. On top of everything I can’t return it! Basically I have to trash $40

Very nice tin, and that’s mostly what you’re paying for. Potentially good flavor, but crusted with sugar. Way over-priced
