New/casual middle-aged runner review; very comfy!
My single biggest complaint from the "big name brands" (Adidas, Nike, etc.) that make casual running shoes is that the toe box feels like it was made for soccer or ballet. These shoes completely fix that problem. I consider my feet somewhat narrow in the mid/arch area but wide at the toes/ball area. These shoes have fit me perfectly from Day One. The mesh is super breathable and great for warm weather. But I will have to find a second pair of similar shoes for cold weather; they will provide no warmth in any sort of cool/cold weather.Again, I'm an inexperienced new runner trying to keep my middle-aged self in shape. But I thought I would point out that while these shoes have nice comfortable cushion throughout the sole (and thus I love to walk in them too!), they tend to make you run with a "mid-strike" or ball/toe strike type of gait. It doesn't feel like there is enough cushion in the heel to run with the heel strike gait I'm more familiar with from my younger past. But I must say, I am picking up the new style pretty easily, and I don't seem to finish my runs with calf and shin aches I may have had in the past. These shoes to me are just all-around comfy, and instantly fixed the long-standing toe box crowding problem I found in many other shoes, so I'm happy to give them 5 stars.

Snug fit, better for weightlifting than x-training
It fits more snugly than I expected despite ordering my normal size. For whatever reason pieces of the tread are coming off, I have five or six of the little rubber chunks missing and I’ve only worn them a handful of times. They also don’t grip very well (eg if you’re doing plank jacks and need the toes to hold their position as you land the jack) - deff better as a weightlifting shoe than an Orangetheory or other cross-training type of shoe.

Good fit for wide feet
I bought these after reading some reviews saying they run small. I have a pair of inov-8 trailroc 285s that I was fitted into a USW 10, which is half a size bigger than my salomon sense rides. I therefore decided to go with a USW10 again for these road shoes. When the roadclaws arrived I measured them back to back with my trailrocs and they were the same length. I was very happy with the fit. I Love the toe box as I have wide feet D width. Also this shoe gives good heel support, nice and firm. The cushioning is comfortable and enough for the few short blasts I've done in the week I've had them but I haven't done any long runs in them yet so cannot comment on comfort for long wears. I feel that wearing them for 2 short jogs is enough to have worn them in and I feel they are ready to trial on a long run. The sole is flexible and gives me a good feel of the ground underneath. One thing I did notice though is the toe end of the lacing did bunch the front of the shoe a little when I tightened them. It didn't poke my foot but it did look like it could rub on longer runs. Overall I am happy with this shoe and would buy again.

Excellent shoe and fits as expected
Love this shoe for my general workouts and running. I have also received a lot of compliments on them when wearing them casually around. Excellent traction in rain or shine. I wear 10 1/2 and bought that size and they fit perfectly.

Really like these shoes
Bought these so that the were the same drop as the trail running shoes that I already had from Inov-8. They were actually $40 cheaper than the Inov-8 site and were still shipped from Inov-8.

Fit is slightly wider than most Inov8 but a very comfortable and breathable shoe for distance.
Purchased a pair of these to add to my distance running shoes in preparation for a marathon in November. They fit very well and the mesh uppers breathe comfortably. The large, puffy laces also do a good job of staying tied over several hours. Traction is as you would expect for any road running shoe and although they are slightly wider than the other Inov8 shoes I have (cross trainers and trail runners), they are very supportive and seem to stay put over the course of longer training runs.

I would recommend ordering a half size up
I have always ordered size 9 from inov. However this style of inov fit a bit small. My toes touch the end of the shoe, so I cannot wear them. I would recommend ordering a half size up

Poor quality
Had these trainers not even 6 months and the inside padding at the heel as worn through! Really really disappointed. I had a pair of new balance trainers before these and they lasted 2 and a half years and ran many more miles than with these inov8 ones. If the seller could contact me that would be appreciated, id be returning these if I’d bought them from a shop. Really disappointed.

Für andere vielleicht besser als für mich.
In Größe 39 bestellt und Größe 40 gekommen. Viel zu groß. Schuh für mich nicht geeignet. Zu breites Fußbett vorne.
