I had one of those caddies that hangs over the shower rod. My rod wasn't straight. It sloped down and so did my caddy (thunk!) I found this hanging caddy and knew it was what I needed. It can be hung anywhere on the rod that is convenient for you. The one drawback might be the soap compartment could be shallower. As the soap melts it may be a little harder to retrieve (I'm not there yet), but not enough of a drawback to delete a star. The metal caddy was always getting gunky from soap and shampoos. This nylon caddy will be a breeze to wash. I recommend.

We bought a new camper and the stand up shower did not come with any ledges for soaps. Our shower door is built in thick plastic retractable door... this mesh caddy fits right over the shower rod and I like that is has lower spaces for my kids to reach!

I really liked the ability to hang the caddy from the shower rings. It seems more stable instead of wrapping around the curtain rod. Also, there are a lot of pockets to put different shower and hair items. The only thing that is sort of hard for me is that it is very long and it is hard for me to bend over to get stuff out of the bottom pockets.

Works perfectly in my new bathroom. The pockets are large enough to be useful, but not so big or bulky as to be in your way. I like that the top pockets are a bit smaller, perfect for a razor or smaller cleaner bottle.

This is nice for holding extra items. Mesh may eventually rip, but it’s still very useful and I am careful not to put sharp edged items in it. Would buy again.
