Just bought these for the beginning of another remodel. I have been using the zip-wall brand for years and paying $27 for a pair of zippers each run.First off, I absolutely love the feel of these compared to the others. Spent a few dollars more for the initial but definitely see the value, the adhesive performance so far is fantastic.The zipper is thicker and feels substantial, not feeling like it's going to just fall off or apart.Have to give kudos to whoever designed these, the little piece of velcro that keeps them rolled was great. The little storage bag will probably get used since these actually feel nice enough to keep and they give you an extra roll of velcro so you can use them again. On that note they will already save me money as soon as I use them on the next job.As far as overall performance goes, if they aren't as fantastic as they seem, I will post an update.Also, using these on 6mil poly vinyl sheeting and they seem to stick well.

This zipper worked out really well getting in and out of the plastic bubble we were held captive in during our re-model.Worked out really well and we had one on each side of the room so we could exit our bed from either side.Worked out really well since I get. up earlier and I just tuck and roll off my side of hte bed and unzip the barrier zipper.Great job for making this re-usable too!!

The glue melted in the heat of the California desert and I had to resort to staples and safety pins to keep it attached to greenhouse plastic outside.Had to change the greenhouse completely to plastic paneling instead.It was a bit difficult to work with to sticker, but the zipper was great quality for sure.I think it came with 2 but I only needed 1 for a short while.

This room zipper for construction is really well made and easy to install. just follow the instructions, however make sure you don't touch the Velcro to the plastic before you are ready, the adhesive is extremely sticky and can't be taken back off to reposition without ripping the plastic sheeting.

Perfect for my containments, anyone can figure out and use. Saving a lot of money with being able to reuse.

RE-U-ZIP® Heavy-Duty Reusable Dust Barrier Zipper. The zipper works great. However, when you want to use it, it can be awkward to open. Like a camping tent you have to get down at the very bottom and pull. It is a zipper. Would be much easier to just push through with a magnet opening automatically. Because it was like a tent and you have to bend over and line up the ends so it does not bind I did not use it much. For the whole project that lasted 3 weeks plus, I used the zipper maybe 5 times. Had it been the self-closing magnet kind, I would have probably used it every day, multiple times a day. Maybe the zipper would be more appropriate in a windy area where the barrier is being pushed. But for my project it was not effective. I am just a diy’er.

Putting up a temporary barrier during the remodel really kept the dust down. This product is great because you can reuse it. Each time I would get the competitor, thinking I would not need it again, the whole thing was thrown away. Now I have a spare or a way of more inexpensively getting a replacement that can provide the same solution.

Pros:Does hold up stuff and is easily adjustable for that purpose.Cons:The adhesive on the zippers like sticking themselves better than a black poly sheeting.Gotchas/Advice:You don't want to put the plastic under the poles. I did that because I had an air purifier running full bore and I figured it'd keep the plastic from moving. It did that, but it also tended to be fussy to try to expand the poles while trying to not wrinkling up the plastic.If, like me, you had a low ceiling, under 7', then the zipper is longer than your vertical distance. I tried to attach the zipper without realizing that the bottom part of the plastic (it was a 10' height roll of sheeting) was a bit unruly and overlapped and so when I went to attach the zipper after it went up with the poles, the bottom became a mess.So general suggestion:1) Figure out how much sheeting you want at the top if you plan to put it between the ceiling and the top of the pole.2) Layout your sheeting, measure down as long as the amount you decided you wanted above. Then start attaching the zipper while the plastic sits flat on the floor. This will mean your zipper doesn't have problems with crunched up plastic if you try to do it in situ.I'll have better results on the second use. Still, some pointers on a sheet of paper would have been useful.
