Just as the title suggest
Its a basic introduction to fire alarm systems just as the title suggests. Good for those just getting into fire alarms and those techs that have been doing fire alarms for a while but are afraid to pick up a book.

Pass
The most generic information on fire alarm systems I've read. Offers no new insight from other books on fire alarm systems. Also paper thin book, a third of the size as most books. I would look elsewhere.

Excellent basis of understanding
Very good introduction to FAS. The diagrams and photos were helpful in understanding the variety of systems.

Great book for Fire Alarm Designers, Installers, and inspectors!
This book is a must for anyone starting out in the field of designing, installing, or inspecting fire alarm systems. The book is extremely well written. Unlike most books I’ve read pertaining to building/ fire codes, this book uses large font and well placed photographs/ images which really helps make a difficult topic become an easy read. After reading the Henry Nazar’s 1st book I am considering going after my level 1 and 2 NICET certifications utilizing his other 3 books.Kyle M PE

Best Book for Fire Alarm Systems!!!
This is book is the best example of Engineers with Field Experience sharing knowledge with their students. I do recommend anyone who is new to FA Industry to please purchase this book. Thank you Henry for compiling your some experience in this book with us. Looking forward to more books like this.

Too expensive for what it is. :/
For the price I should have purchased one in actual store. The book looks and feels like a photo copied version. Information so far is helpful but not more than that. I would not recommend this book, especially for the price.
