I got this installed on my old HP Pavillion X360 Convertible x13-s101tu model which is now discontinued by HP and support withdrawn. THe Laptop was lying in the corner so I decided to bring it to use. Replaced the mechanical Toshiba HDD with this Kingston 240Gb q500 SSD. Cloned my OS using Macrium Reflect software and Volia ! my Laptop has become super fast like todays Generation laptops.I am indeed very contented with this purchase. Kingston SSD are good and so is their Memory if purchased Original.I surely recommend this SSD in budget level for old valueless laptops. Cheers

Works fine and the speed is very good as it is Solid State Drive (SSD).Boot time for Windows 11 in my old desktop is now just 10 to 15 seconds. File transfer is ultra fast now. I should have bought it long time but better late than never. Just go for it if you have any old laptop or desktop and you will be surprised how fast it is. Value for money product.

Bought 2 in past 2 years. Both working well. However I use them as storage devices (substitute for pendrive) but I even used in on 2 old win 7 PC's. Both booted really fast like in 5-8 seconds for some Linux os, and like 3 seconds for lite os like slax. Bottom point is buy it. I spent ₹2999 and around ₹2500 when I bought them in lockdown, however if u just want to upgrade to ssd for old pc and can wait, let price drop to 2300₹ which u get by sale times if ssd prices are low

this product is have a light weight and and compact size in comparison to HDD. andthe finishing of the productis really very good. it's speed is much fasteer than the the others and if you use this ssd in nyour system your pc boothing time is appprox half of the regular time and if you a gamer then you must be buy this SSD because it also increase your gaming FPS and gives a full and proper Gaming experience. lastly i want to be it is value for money

Does a job and does it well. Plug and Play Installation, just need to format it.I installed this SSD in my old laptop manufactured in 2013, using this SSD as a primary volume.Increased in boot time and overall application performance.Try to buy it in any Sale with some additional offers to squeeze out more value of your investment.Just a single CON : Lack of DRAM Cache, but you wont notice it until you're on heavy workload.
