YTL-015-431 Log Catcher, Small

Solid build, perfect for what I needed. Maybe some day if i get a welder i will build a bigger one, but for now this one will save my back

This log cradle has been a great addition to my splitter. I've split logs that weigh up to 200 lbs with no issues at all. For those who state that this is somehow flimsy or doesn't hold up - not sure what you're doing but this is as sturdy as can be. Now, I'm not interested in tempting fate and trying to abuse this to a failure point so when I'm splitting a series of large logs I just use a little ingenuity and add a brace - in this case, a 2X4 laying nearby. I've also used a cut branch for additional support. Maybe not necessary but it's an easy hack. All in all I am very pleased and this has proven to be an invaluable addition to my splitter!!

This is a nice addition to my log splitter. It didn’t come with a shelf, so this really made an improvement.

The reviews say it’s flimsy and cheaply made. I bought it anyway seeing a few other good posts about it. I’m glad i did too! It is flat with no bend on the end like the picture. But it works very well anyways and unless you are splitting huge logs you won’t have any problems. (I was splitting big cottonwood logs and it did just fine,just have to wrestle it a lil to keep on the rack. But beats the hell out of picking up twice.) glad I bought it made really well with some good welds too. I would definitely recommend this product!!

I had to slightly enlarge holes to fit husky but it was not a problem. I just ran the drill bit through the hole a few times

Cheaply made for its intended use.

Works great and is a big improvement at a great price point. Exactly as described. It's small but adequately catches a half log and keeps you from having to bend over as frequently. Worth having and worth the money!

Sturdy piece of equipment. Unfortunately I’ll have to make some modifications to the wood splitter to have the wood rack fit.
