Vast improvement to Ryobi flashlight
I was really glad I had purchased these LED lights to upgrade my Ryobi flashlight just before hurricane Sally arrived a couple of weeks ago. We were without power for a week and relied heavily on this flashlight. I would have hated to have the weak, yellow light instead of the bright, white light. I've attached a picture of the original bulb and this light so you can see the difference.

Puts your old flashlight back to work.
Direct replacement for old flashlights using incandescent bulbs. Easy to install — just swap it out. But they do require cleaner contacts and switches. The old flashlights could limp along with corroded contacts and switches, and the incandescent bulbs would simply be a bit dimmer. But under those conditions, these bulbs either function intermittently, erratically, or not at all. I had my Dad’s 40-year-old Brinkman 2-D-cell flashlight, from back when they first started making heavy-duty flashlights out of machined aluminum. It was “state of tge art” at the time. I had given it to Dad for Christmas when I was a kid, for him to carry in his car. I didn’t want to part with it. It worked “OK” with the original bulb (just dim), but not at all with these bulbs — at first. I was disappointed. But then I took it apart, cleaned the contacts, and sprayed contact cleaner into the old switch (if you do this, be sure to use the kind that doesn’t harm plastic parts). Now, with these bulbs, it works better than new. It’s at least 50% brighter than it ever was. It restored my keepsake flashlight, which is now my everyday carry for my car. It will probably outlive me too. If you have a nice old flashlight you want to put back to work, this is the solution.

Prolong your battery life.
Great replacement for the old bulb. It’s definitely brighter then the original bulb. I like that it creates a white light versus the yellow. Been using it a night light. For those who don’t know, you can remove the top exposing the bulb. Use the top as a base to put the flashlight in and now you have a torch. The battery is still going strong. I kept the old batteries in when it switched out the bulb. Before the light was very dull.

Best price:performance summer 2020. Easy to install in my super old Maglite. What a difference!
Worked like a charm and no issues so far (only 2 months). 4 stars on value because I could almost buy a new flashlight for that money. 3 stars on brightness; it's far better than the incandescent that was in there, but not as bright as some other modern flashlights I have for similar money. 4 stars on battery life--2 months of use and still going, but hasn't really been long enough (nor do I have actual data) to tell for sure. But, I didn't notice it draining the batteries quickly, so giving them the benefit of the doubt.

Go for it.
Appearance and feel of these bulbs is better than the originals. They installed into an 18 volt Ryobi light as easily as the original incandescent. The light pattern is much more even than the original build fading away evenly away from the center of the beam with no dark patches at the edge like I had with the original. Obviously, these run longer on a charge as well. I got over half an hour from a battery that was already too discharged to even start my 3/8” Ryobi drill. The light is very bright compared to the original and the color of the light is nice too. I can easily read fine print on a package printed in blue and green inks unlike the original bulb. I can’t in good faith give this five stars for longevity until I have been using it for at least a thousand hours but so fas, so good.

Impressive!
I am totally impressed by how BRIGHT this light is, big improvement over the regular bulb. Easy to change. Cannot comment on longevity yet.Update 4/13/21The bulb went very dim one evening while out walking the dog. I didn't drop the light or hit it against anything. Not sure if it is because I don't always push the light button in all the way - I kind of just push the button down enough to get the light to light.I then tried the other bulb, as they come in a pair, and that worked. After making sure the second bulb worked, I put the first one back in. It was still dull. I decide to just barely touch the LED itself and it began working again. Odd. Guess I'll wait and see if it happens again.Pictures 1) LED bulb that had dimmed. 2) Good LED bulb on same surface as #1. 3) LED bulb shining on a tree. 4) Stock flashlight bulb which was replaced with LED bulb.

Waiting to see
If the LED bulb lasts longer and is more resistant to shocks it is worth it. Only time will tell about that and I haven't had it long enough to know. I have two in Hitachi 18v flashlights. Unlike the OEM bulbs, the main light beam is narrow, stronger, and a little brighter than OEM bulbs. Other comments suggest that there may be some variation in the nature of the light beam. The narrower beam is better than OEM for seeing a distance at night and not so good for area lighting in a dark room. Thanks to the seller!

It's bright white, but brightness is same as the original traditional bulb
I bought this bulb as replacement for my Craftsman 19.2v flashlight. I thought it would be much brighter than the original traditional bulb, but it's only about the same brightness as the original bulb. I know since I actually have light meter to verify. I bought two bulbs and one measures about 2000 LUX and the other about 3000 LUX. The original "traditional" bulb is about 3000 LUX. Although the new bulb light is WHITER, it's NOT brighter. I was somewhat disappointed that quality control between the two bulbs make that much difference. The less bright bulb actually has a noticeable less bright spot in the light projection. Overall, I guess I was expecting much brighter than older style traditional bulbs. But hopefully the longevity and robustness of the LED bulb will justify the higher price over the traditional bulbs.

Bought two one worked and one didnt
Important they are 4-12V most flashlights are 2 cell so wont work with 2 cells C and D. 3# cell D battery flashlight worked well not the brightest. So could only get one to work and other would not work at all except for a 6Volt latern but focal bem so tight missess refelctors in that model . Wimpish light. Tried contacting supplier throgh Amazon links. Had no reply from supplier who after a second attempt advised me did not get the first note. Option send back full double pack for a replacement one but already had light bulb in use in one flashlight so needed that imediately so not able to send back for a single bulb replacement. Overall very expensive solution for one working light bulb.

Beware!
This bulb did not fit into my 6D Maglite. The bulb collar ring does not allow this bulb to fit in it. I just got a new 6D Maglite flashlight. This bulb would work in an older Maglite flashlight. It has the old style bulb which has a wider threaded collar that would allow this led bulb to fit. I did some research into this problem.

Fits perfectly
The bulb is a perfect fit but the light thrown is not the same as a conventional incandescent bulb, it has a more concentrated bright circle in the center and the temperature is much colder. Overall not a big issue, its bright, it works and will presumably last longer.

Fantastic replacement for regular bulbs
I'm using them for a Ryobi flash light. OEM burnt out, non-LED replacement burnt out (twice) in 20 minutes...these LudoPam LED Conversion Kit bulbs fit perfectly, have been working for a while, and SUPER, SUPER BRIGHT!
