Gunnar optiks made me a 1337 #1 pro gamer.. Hah
All gaming jokes aside.Really happy I got these. When all these "gaming glasses" started coming out I was rolling my eyes and thinking "snake oil for GAMING!". I have an amber version as well. The amber lenses are great but I think they may block too much blue light for daytime use, I notice myself feeling tired. As far as I understand, the science backs up what I'm experiencing. Blocking blue light during the day possibly inhibits serotonin, which means you might feel sleepier while using the amber lenses.Anyway, based on that hypothesis I picked up the crystalline glasses. So far, I'm a happy customer. They reduce eye strain and block air from the fan on my desk so my eyes don't tend to get as dry. When I get home I put my amber lenses on and it's a 1-2 punch. After being very skeptical about these products for years, especially since they're branded to "GAMERS" all the time. I would suggest these to anyone who spends a significant amount of time looking at screens. Just make sure you get the right size for your head and such.Con: Lenses scratch/smudge EASILY on both gunnars I own, you need to treat them like precious gemstones. Also I wouldn't waste money on their cleaner. You can easily just youtube DIY glasses cleaner and save a ton of money.

They work great, but lenses are perpetually dirty/smudgy
Let me start by saying that I definitely believe these are effective in reducing eye-strain and I love them for that reason. The frame is comfortable on my average-sized head and they feel sturdy. What frustrates me about these glasses is that the lenses do not seem to clean well.. I have tried using microfiber cloths with & without lens cleaner yet the lenses still appear somewhat smudgy and oily. This doesn't affect the view through the lenses too much themselves, but it does irk me when I take them off and see the smudges.I primarily use these for PC gaming and they have definitely helped reduce/eliminate the headaches that used to accompany marathon gaming sessions in excess of 2 hours, plus the slight magnification definitely makes things a bit nicer. Overall, I'd highly recommend these if you're suffering from eye strain and/or headaches, but be warned that the lenses are impossible to fully clean.

3 hours into my day I noticed a difference
I've always had a ton of screen time. Often times I work an 8 hour day in front of 3 monitors then I go home and to wind down for the day play some video games on the PC. I thought that I didn't really have an issue because I don't get head aches and maybe I'm just resilient. But no. My eyes feel less strain and the weirdest thing is my eyes feel more moist. I don't think my eyes are being moistened because of the glasses i think it's just how they feel due to less strain. I highly recommend them!Cons: I have a wide head, these squeeze me more than is comfortable. The only discomfort I have is the light squeeze by end of the day. If you have a wide head like myself i think these frames might not be the best for you.

Less Strain on my Eyes, Feel So Much Better
Last year my eyes felt pretty strained and tired, and I deduced that it was from sitting in front of my work desk for 7 - 8 hours a day doing photo and editing work. I went looking online for some solutions and found that these were the way to go! A year later, and I can honestly say that my eyes feel so much better after using these glasses while at the office. These full rim glasses look great, almost as if their Ray-Bans and the build quality is quite awesome too - strong, durable plastic, not some flimsy stuff out there. If you have tired eyes from staring at a screen all day, I'd definitely recommend that you try these out.

Great for everything digital.
I bought and have been using these for over a year now. For years my eyes strained, turned red, and I would get tired as I stared into my monitor working and TV playing videos or watching movies for an extended period of time. Initially, I had no idea why until I came across an ad for these and did more research on eye strain and Gunnar Optiks. I purchased these out the blue and wear them anytime I am working on the computer or playing video games. They have reduced my eye strain and kept my fatigue at bay. I was really surprised they work and am a proud owner. I purchased the clear lens one as I am a front-end developer who spends long hours coding and designing in photoshop and illustrator. I did not want the yellow tint lens to throw off any color interpretations for me. Overall, I recommend these to anyone who spends long hours gaming or working on the computer, especially those who use LED screens and don't want to turn the backlight settings down.

Worth the money if you are on the computer a lot.
I purchased these after reading about how screen glare can mess up your vision. I work long days, 8-12 hours doing illustration and graphic design on a 27 inch mac, and was definitely starting to feel some eye strain. These glasses alleviate some of that strain for sure- the only thing is if you're not used to wearing glasses indoors it's hard to remember to put them on all the time. I also agree the arms of the glasses are a bit tight behind my ears but I got used to it. Worth the money if you are on the computer a lot.

Helps with eye strain
I am updating my review. In my previous review, I mentioned that I no longer have bloodshot eyes since using these glasses at work. It seems like I still do...except it's less red than usual. I don't know if the cause of my red eyes have to do with eye strain or something else in my office. I am a web developer and I stare at my screen all day.My eyes do not feel as tired since using these glasses, so that portion is good. BTW I do not wake up with red eyes. It's something that develops as the day progresses while in the office. It would have received 5 stars if I didn't look like such a dork.

Great for people that still need/ work with accurate screen colors
They barely filter out anything, but they definitely cut back on the most aggressive blue tones. These are fantastic for a graphic designer/ film editor etc. because they definitely help with eye strain. Just don't expect a drastic change. Yellow lenses are for that. These are a good "compromise" for someone who still needs semi-accurate on-screen color representation. Only downside is that they are easily smudged/ fogged. The style looks great, and the build quality is solid.

Not comfortable
The glasses, like all new glasses, take some getting used to and have your eyes adjust to them properly. After a couple weeks they were great on the eyes except they started creating sore spots on my nose. I think the plastic they are made from is too hard and the nose gap is too small for my face. I cannot wear these glasses for more than a couple days without getting sore red spots on my nose.I wear glasses regularly as I need them to see distance and none of my prescription glasses give me this issue. Only the Gunnar glasses dig into my nose.
