I'm not going to drop this with my Pro X in it to test....ill trust it will do its job. This unit fits nicely around my Surface Pro X. The hand insert on the back is a nice feature! The strap for shoulder carry is a bit cumbersome. I wish the strap had a quick release for detach but it does not, yet. All in all I am HAPPY with my purchase. It also give my Pro X character! Kind of a tough rugged look! I have access to all my ports too! Just be careful when adding your keyboard after you install the screen into the unit. The magnets on the key board catch before properly attached. Also, the magnets on the back rest picket up my SIM adapter on my desk and I thought I lost it so be careful around other objects! I like the pen holder on the top! The engeneers really did good!

Nice case for my surface pro. It’s bulky and feels sturdy and I like that. I like the hand strap. The kick stand has one angle. It would be nice if it offered maybe a couple options for different angles. The stylus holster is the only real let down for me. It is extremely tight and it can be a struggle to pry the stylus free. I guess at $60 a stylus it’s good that it’s tight... but I don’t really use the stylus anymore because it’s so tight ...so that’s not good.
