Motorcycle suspension setup and tuning is considered a "Dark Art" by some. Most do not even bother with it-relying instead on the dealer to "set things up" and then forget about it. Unfortunately too many bikes on the road today are "out of tune" to the point where riders become frustrated with the ride and handling of their new machine and then trade it. A properly tuned AND monitored suspension does several things for the rider-it makes the ride more enjoyable as handling and responsiveness is greatly increased and it monitors the suspension for trends that will indicate when it is time for maintenance or even a upgrade. This tool helps in both cases. A properly tuned bike to the riders weight not only increases safety but also enjoyment of the ride. After all, is not that the purpose of owning a bike in the first place? Enjoyment? Following the guide for setup on your bike with this tool is easy, though their is a slight learning curve. Was the curve is overcome it is so easy I actually check my bike every few hundred miles. This allows me to gauge when the fork oil may be weakening and in need of a refresh, or that the rear shock is ending its life. Get this tool...you will become the "Wizard" to all your friends.

The reason for my return was I was not confident I had accurate readings. I measured my sag using the Slacker and with a tape manually. The numbers were not consistent.

If you're looking for a way to measure sag on your motorcycle by yourself, then this is the tool. With this tool, I can measure my sag and adjust my front or rear suspension on my street bike myself.

This tool works great. It's really expensive for what it is, but suspension is so important, making it easier to adjust is actually worth the high cost to me. I wish the cord had different hooks that could be easily swapped in. I drilled my fender in a spot which the provided hook could not reach.

Hands down the best tool in my box. If you are still setting your sag the old way you will be very surprised at how you really arnt setting it as correct as you think you are.

Easy to use to set your motorcycle suspension

This allows you to set sag without any help. Very easy to use, instructions are great. Used my friends V2 and I notice a significant quality upgrade to the V3. Way easier a faster than using the old tape measure.
