Not balanced and could break
Not balanced. Do not take one side rooter off if the other is still hanging there. It will fall over.

Cuttings Don't Have to be Ugly Anymore
Like most botanists/gardeners, I used to use any old container when getting particular species to root, which can make for a bit of a messy inconvenience. (especially when you do this type of thing all the time ... like during a pandemic ... oy!)Well, take heart, People of the Tribe of Green Thumbs, you now have a stylish method to hold your cuttings or to grow hydroponically.I don't think I've stopped using it since I purchased it.The quality is astonishing for the low price tag.It fits PERFECTLY on any window sill, is solid, but looks terrific!Oh, and if you're into growing bonsai, this baby gave me two dwarf Weeping Willow trees (roots and growth) within a week with zero hassle. The only caveat is the opening isn't large on either side of the rod so this won't do large cuttings.Go forth and multiply ... in style and sturdiness. Happy growing!

Super cute, but had flaws
Super cute . The only reason I gave it 3 stars is because we had to modify it to work. The hole where you stick the rod through was not wide enough directly in the middle. The rod could only go in halfway on both sides and the rod itself was bent. My husband had to drimmel the hole so the bar could fit all the way through for sturdiness. The bar was bent in one end so we had to fanagel it to where the bowl sat correctly. Lastly both on the single bulb and the dual one (also ordered) they both were missing rubber washers. We are crafty so we were able to fix it. Had we not I would have returned it. But I will say, it is really cute as a set. Very simplistic which is what I like.

Love it
I am a big plant person, and this little propagation station is perfect for me to put on my desk. Almost all of the plants in my office were started from cuttings. I used to put in a plastic cup until the roots started. Now they are in a beautiful display.

Cute
This hydroponic vase is pretty cute. It’s pretty small so it will fit anywhere. Came well packaged in a styrofoam box. It was really easy to assemble, comes with tiny washers to keep the vases in place. Overall cute little set up to add to my work desk.

Perfect for growing plant starts!
This is perfect if you grow plant starts which I often do. It's cute so it looks great sitting on the counter, much better than a glass or jar. And the vase makes it easy to see the progress of the roots. The vase is a bit on the fragile side though, as it is thin glass. Would buy again!

Nice stand though drilled hole was too small
Previous reviews have commented on the hole being too small for the metal rod. Unfortunately, my stand also had this issue. Took considerable force to get the rod rammed through the smaller hole and slightly bent the metal rod. Overall, it is a nice stand.

As described
Great product, looks good and easy to assemble. It’s small so it fits just about anywhere. After you place the beaker MAKE SURE you add the loop on RIGHT AWAY because it will slide off until you balance it and it could break the glass. Also, keep in mind the pole goes through the middle of the beaker so that limits the cuttings you can fit but chances are it will. Overall I’m really pleased with my purchase and I’m excited to watch it grow some roots !!
