Worked well for this novice
My first time terminating ethernet cable. Lessons learned include: slide the boot on the cable first, strip the insulating sheath with snip of sharp scissors down the length (to avoid nicking the wires) and then drag the threads up the sheath to extend the snip, even off the ends of wires, line them tightly against each other and apply uniform force into the connector. The connectors made a solid crimp and the boot finishes nicely. Outcome was excellent speed through the cable.

Working well so far
These are pretty decent quality for the price. So far i haven't had any fail to make a connection. The pull-through kind are my favorite since it gives you visual confirmation that the wires are where you want them... just remember to pull back just slightly after you cut so the ends don't protrude...

A Guaranteed Cable The First Time.
I should of bought this a long time ago. Guaranteed perfect cable. My school should buy these to teach students how to terminate a cable. The boot covers are a little stiff to my liking. Overall i will buy it again. Make sure you buy a good pass through crimper that works with these.

Worth it!
I wasn't too sure about these RJ45 Cat5 pass through connectors at first but they turned out to be an awesome product for the money! With the proper crimping tool you can attach these connectors like a pro!

They work!
These are nice so you can see the colors of the strands as they are located in the connector. The boots are helpful in not snagging on things as you pull them.
