Seller scamming people out of a true 40pc set
This seller purchases the 40piece set, removes 10 pieces, and sells it as a 30 piece set for the same price.We received this as a gift for Christmas. We were surprised when only 6 place settings were included. I took the number on the box and checked on the villeroy and boche website and the number matches the 8 place setting. I purchased another 8 place setting from a reputable department store and found the same number on the box. This seller etched on the part on the box that says 40 pieces.The product itself is nice enough where I'm going to keep the set. The shine is beautiful and they are modern and sleek, exactly what I was looking for. My husband describes them as dainty. The large and small spoon are pretty different in size (more dramatic difference than the forks). My caution would be to buy from a reputable seller and not here. Villeroy and Boche does not sell a 30 piece set.
