Amazing investment. I've been a coin collector and enthusiasts. Purchasing this as my first enhancement of finding errors in coins was an awh factor to see the clear picture and details in the coins. If I ever really wanted closer I could hold the coins up to the lens and adjust the focus just right. The clearness that this product provides is exceptional and impressive. For the price you can't beat it. You don't need an absolute expensive product as a low guy that's a collector. Buy the warranty and you're set. If you're in a coin shop then you would obviously want a true investment to not just show your interest in just making a great investment, but something that would be used, bumped and moved around way more than a small one like this. I've dropped this one a couple of times. Super durable and sturdy. No issues of faults since being dropped. This is the first step to buy an item like this for first time enthusiasts. It's a very affordable investment. Charges exceptionally well. I just use this for the observation. I've personally not used the recording and storage. I've found amazing investment in coins thus far since purchasing this product.

The build of the microscope is sturdy, functional and easy to use. The software in the microscope is basic and navigating it with the buttons on the front of the screen can be a bit awkward, but I got used to it after a while. It is a breeze to connect up to the Windows 10 camera app and use that instead of their "amcap" software. (I tried the amcap software and it would not take pictures, it would take videos.) The view on the digital screen is good! and the lights for lighting up the object under the scope are good and bright. Adjustment of the light is easy. I used this to classify macro invertebrates and could not be happier. When connected up to the windows 10 camera app, it is easy peasy to take pictures or videos. And when connected up to a computer, the battery in the microscope is continually charged (so the microscope and light will always work)! I put in some pictures of my critters. Hope you enjoy this scope as much as I do. Love it.

I really hate to give this anything other than a 5-star glowing review because it is an insane bargain (had a 10% coupon on top of great price).It does its job well, that being a magnification device so I could solder circuit boards. Really well, but it comes with some irritations. The screen gets washed out with anything other than a "direct" angle, and that angle does not work for me when soldering. This could have been solved by including a tilt mechanism for the screen, and that would also help general positioning. It works great with a Windows machine, although I haven't tried out the included software I just fire up the Camera app and the image is right there. I can easily get a video and still shots there. It is nice to use when working versus having the problems with the built-in screen. Unfortunately, picture quality isn't bad, but there is slight artifacting that makes the image seem to have movement, or "snow" that is distracting. Also, using it this way makes the clear end of the camera irritating as it allows tons of light to get in my eyes. I have to tape over it to keep it out. The LED lights are great, and adjust. Unfortunately again, brighter makes picture quality suffer.All that said, this still is a really, really nice digital microscope at a price that is superb. I really should not complain, and I am not so much as hoping the manufacturer reads this and gives it some low-cost fixes for the light and angle adjustment. It offers tons of features, and for my basic use is excellent. I hope that in the (near) future an LCD screen upgrade will be available.If they did these things, this would be a truly excellent product and the value would be insane. And, I will certainly buy another new and improved product from them.

This scope turned out to be much more than I'd hoped for/bargained for..... amazing pictures and clarity!!! Setup and operation is so easy that I didn't realize there's no paper owners manual (only the mini-dvd or online I suppose) for over a month!!! I noticed one review asking how to get it to zoom in for the max-1000x; drop the scope to less than 5 mm (very close) and turn the focus counter-clockwise until you can see what it is your magnifying. I definitely recommend this microscope for anyone who's in the market. It's durable and has superb battery life! If I didn't know the cost then I would be shocked as to the price after having used it for a few days...... it's really is worth quite a bit more!!!!!

We’ve had and used quite a few digital microscopes since 2015 and loved the quality and ease of use for young children. However, I was looking for something as user friendly but without the need to plug it into a laptop or phone. This microscope with attached screen has an even better picture quality then my older ones and gives you a clearer image. The camera is extremely easy to use and a lot nicer and more user friendly for young shaky hands. You can move the object without distorting the sharpness and it is very easy to adjust the light brightness with the dial. It’s small and compact and easy to take a long on hikes if you want to take A recording of a specimen without removing it from its natural habitat.

We bought it for my 7 years old son, he loves it very much. Its images are very clear and bright which surprise us a lot. Another fantastic feature is its video recording which makes kids to do their science projects easy and informative. It also has very good size screen as well as fantastic magnification. Overall, the quality and the price match very well.

This purchase is intended as a birthday gift for my grandson. That great day is still a couple of weeks away, so his reaction is yet to be observed.From my observation, the Microscope should ably satisfy him, and I anticipate smiles of much pleasure and happiness.Many thanks for the swift delivery.

I got this due to having it's own display and the magnification range it says above.I was expecting the description "50X-1000X DIGITAL MAGNIFICATION" to mean you could adjust the magnification digitally.Alas this isn't possible, you must manually wind the 'microscope' up and down to change the magnification.Also not sure how it's possible get the full range from 50X to 1000X.
