Cheap but accurate and easy to use.
I know some people seem to be put off by the lightweight plastic construction but this does exactly what it's supposed to. I have had this caliper for quite a while now and it has survived being tossed from my mess of a kitchen junk drawer, to my desk, to a box in the closet. Another complaint I'm seeing is that it's hard to know when to stop squeezing. Well, for me, I have never had that issue. You're just feeling for a little click. Not to mention that you can actually watch it happen with most fold locations.I have used this caliper to perform both the 3-site and 7-site skin fold test, both of which gave me relatively similar results. (tho I would recommend the 7-site) These results were far more consistent than those done by a Bioelectrical Impedance device that we have at work. With the BI device, it seems like my results change with every use.

Great price, and does the job, but read my review for advice on more accurate measurements.
You can't beat it for the money. Forget the scale. Your weight goes up when you gain muscle. Counting fat is what matters. The instructions that come with it are lame. Don't use them. Seriously, they're incredibly inaccurate, because they go by only one measurement. However, the good news is, there are tons of YouTube videos and blogs out there that show you the right way to use it. Many of these websites have built in calculators. I use one that goes by 3 measurements, plus my age, and my weight, and then produces the fat percentage calculation result. Far more accurate. But aside from the lame instructions, the product is cheap plastic, and works like a charm. Get one, and throw out your scale. I saw them for $20 bucks at GNC, which makes this a bargain.

Sufficient.
Cheap, easy, simple. However, the plastic used is flimsy. Keep in mind that if you squeeze hard enough to get an accurate measurement, it will hurt, and that a few people using the same caliper on the same person might get slightly different readings because some skill is required. The little note that came with it is for men only and is only how to do a single measurement. Don't bother keeping it. Just go on the internet and follow directions on how to measure using these. One spot is insufficient for accuracy anyway. Also of note, it is hard for a female to do this on her own since, to be more accurate, you need to do the leg, abdomen, and the tricep area with the arm by your side while also reading the measurement. If you want something you can do alone with little effort, get an electric one. That being said, I do like this thing. It's small, light, discrete, fits in a gym bag and is reasonably accurate. For the price, you can't expect much more.

Accurate - Comparable to BodPod
This device is highly accurate considering the price and ease of use. I took a measurement in the morning before an appointment for a BodPod. The Accu-Measure was within 1% of the BodPod...I'm very impressed. The product comes with an instruction card for measuring...couldn't be easier. The product itself is plastic, so I suggest following the instructions and do not apply to much pressure as plastic can warp, which would leave it useless. However, it does not require much pressure at all and I am very pleased with my purchase.

The MyoTape is great for taking all sorts of measurements
Would be 4-5 stars for quality at the price point but for the fact that it doesn't make ANY sense that this caliper goes all the way to 60mm when the entirety of the 0-20% bodyfat range is crammed into the first 15mm according to the included chart. It would make a LOT more sense if this went to 20-30mm max and the units were expressed in whole or half milimeters, and not increments of 2-4-6-8-10. An "average" 15-20% bf person dieting down to a relatively lean 10% would need a magnifying glass and a micro-engraving kit to apply their own ruler in order to track their progress. The MyoTape is great for taking all sorts of measurements, and allows you to get way more accurate and -consistent- than just using a tailor's tape or what have you.

Where is the adult version of this? They sent me a kids toy
Why does this device have inches on it? And why doesn’t it have markings on both sides? I’m pretty sure I can guess body fat percentage more accurately by pinching with my fingers than this device as it relates to me having to stare at the tiny hash marks and numbers on an already miniature device. I had no idea that this device would be smaller than my hand...I realize that these skin fold readings are more about measuring progress, assuming you are able to obtain some level of proficiency and consistency with said device; however, pinching fat with one hand and then to be gentle as to not completely destroy this tiny, fragile device with my other hand is so comical, all the while attempting to ready hashmarks and numbers that are barely visible to the human eye, I can’t understand how this was a recommended product. Who recommended this thing? I found better quality products out of the Perkins wishing well when I was a kid than this thing. Total waste of money and time since now I have to probably order or go shopping for an adult version of this toy. At least my 5 year old can pretend or practice to be a personal trainer, but she probably doesn’t have the dexterity to keep from crushing this fragile device in her tiny hand.

Wer billig kauft...
... kauft zweimal!

These are a cheap copy
Don't buy! Amazon were great and have given a refund. This is not the same product that Michael Matthews recommends in Bigger Leaner Stronger. It is a cheap copy. They couldn't even get the name right on the sticker they put on the calipers. Every reading was different. A complete waste of time. Better buying the real thing from a USA website.

Flimsy and plastic and weak.
Its a little crappy in build to say the least. But I guess it does the job. I suppose one is paying for the increments and measurements and not the build quality. Can't imagine it lasting a long time. Chart that comes with it is small and hard to read.Ok had it for a couple of weeks. Used no more than 3 times and it’s already broken. The plastic has split at the hinge.Don’t buy. Very very flimsy.

Clumsy to use on overweight people - the people who buy it.
I don't know if this thing is accurate, but one person I know who is overweight tried it, and it doesn't really seem to be suited for overweight people. It has trouble gripping.I've also come to think that maybe you do not need a piece of plastic to tell you whether or not you are satisfied with your body. I think you can tell by looking in the mirror.

Does the job
This has been a great benefit to my health. Easy to use. I've used this for months and it really helped me lose weight. I would recommend it to anyone trying to get healthier. This is an average quality product at a reasonable price, and it works as expected. I have not noticed any major problems with it. That being said, the plastic is very flimsy, and I fear it won't last too long.

Great product and it works!
Great product...was a bit sceptical before buying but it actually works really well and much more accurate than scales. Not quite a body scan but gives a good indication of body fat.Supplied super quick at a very reasonable price. 👍😎

Does exactly as it says
Great wee product for measuring bodyfat, delivers disappointing news with great accuracy! Fairly robust for something that looks so dainty. Has proven to be a good purchase and still doing its job 9 years down the line.

Great Tool For The Job
This is a great, handy little tool to use every now and then to monitor progress. I can't recommend using it every day, but once a week it is good to help track your weight loss goals.I used mine in conjunction with various online calculators, as I didn't find the included table of results useful enough to monitor progress. Getting the technique right for accurate readings is tricky at first, so having a training partner or a friend help you measure your body fat is useful.

Good quality product, the graph card not so much
Works well good quality only thing is I brought from watching a video online and the graph cards he had where bigger brighter and laminated, these are just (meh) card but it works just be careful with the card mines abit crumbled from its journey to me.

Spot on
Better than pretty much any overly technical solution you can privately buy. I've found the electrical appliances tasked with the same job to be lacking in accuracy where these are accurate and do the job with near perfection.

Difficult to use...
I found this quite difficult to use & couldn’t get an accurate measurement. Perhaps it’s easier with practice but I gave up. For the price I wasn’t expecting much so I guess if you can be bothered to figure it out it might be a bargain.

Five Stars
Nice tool with a useful instruction leaflet. Satisfying 'click' when measurement has been taken.

Fake Product, got sent a PE-USA-200-Fat-Measure
Unfortunately this is not a 'Accu Measure 3000' but an alternative brand which you can normally buy on amazon.com for $1.79. It clear shows the brand on the caliper with no mention of AccuMeasure. The instructions do say Accumeasure but these can just be printed easily.

Easy enough to use
Well, this is a fairly decent product for the price. I know I do not know exactly how accurate it is as I have not had a proper bf test done yet. But- I find it easy to get a consistent reading each time. This is good enough for me to see that my bf is coming down every week and the chart that comes with it is useful for the equations and things to show you your stats.

A great way to measure gym progress
A great way to measure gym progress. Measuring weight alone is pointless; are you gaining/losing muscle or fat? Combine weight measurements with the Accu Measure and you will have your answer.
