So easy to give my finicky pomeranian her medications now!
This product has definitely made pill time less stressful! I usually don't write reviews too often, but seeing that there were so many people that were giving this product less than stellar reviews, I wanted to give my opinion. First, my dog was recently diagnosed with respiratory and heart issues that required me to give her 6 pills a day- 3 in the morning and 3 at night. Second, she's very finicky and never like peanut butter and stopped liking cheese, and her current health issues have also affected her appetite. My husband and I had tried so many things: pill pushers, crushing in food, pills wrapped in chicken, but for a smallish dog she has so much strength to bite, pull, then spit out her pills. It was stressful for all of us. Then I found these online and decided to give them a try. Lo and behold, she gobbled them up when we put 1 pill in its own pill pocket (didn't want her smelling the pills and getting turned off). Now that's she's looking forward to them, I can actually fit 2 pills in a pill pop, and even save a little bit of the treat for later use to further conserve. These pill pops are so easy to use, I can jam the capsule in the long edge and just squeeze the ends a little to close them up, or I can get my chopstick out and press in a little hole at one end to stick the bulkier pills in and squeeze the pop a little bit to close. Perfect! She gobbles up her pill pops and now pill time is a piece of cake. I went ahead and bought 6 more packages.

My dog loves these…
My senior little dog has to take medication several times a day. I am so glad I found pill pockets. They come individually wrapped and each one can be divided into multiple pieces. They’re wonderful if you need to travel. We have tried several flavors and she seems to love them all equally. I will purchase again.

Pills didn't fit
The pills didn't fit so it was hard trying to get the dog to take her meds

Bad reviews? Can't relate!
These are fantastic! My dog is currently on 3 different medications for a degenerative disk disease (IVDD) episode in his lower back. I picked these "pill pockets" for their price point and natural ingredients. Each pocket comes separately wrapped to keep them fresh and moist. I love that they don't smell like fish bait, like the common store brand, and my dog loves them as well. No, they do not have a hole in them, so I guess they are more like a pill... nugget? But anyways, I literally just push the pill/capsule and it sinks in with ease. Depending on my mood that day, I will sometimes use my pinky to make a small dent for the pill to go in, but it's really not necessary. They are also very soft and malleable and they do not crack or fall apart when manipulated, and plenty big enough to fit pills of all sizes.Unfortunately, my pup will have this disease for the rest of his life, he takes his pills 3 times a day and I definitely plan on purchasing these tasty pill nuggets for him again and again.

The only pill pocket our dog likes
There is no consistency in the texture of the pockets. Several packages have been too dry. The current bag is extremely soft and mushy. Our dog is on 4 medications twice a day so we do break the pockets apart so that all of his pills are either enclosed in the pocket or have a piece of it on them. The dry pockets are difficult to use with even one pill. All of that being said, we will continue to buy these as they are the only ones that make twice a day pilling relatively easy.

Too troublesome to open & no pill "hole".
My dog love the flavor of these just fine. The problem isn't with the actual product itself well it kind of is and I'll explain that in a second. First of all, it is way too difficult to open. You must have a pair of scissors on you or use your teeth because the indentations on the plastic barely work and then the two pill pellet just fly everywhere. So once you have the scissors then you have to squeeze them out of the package while the dog is sitting there waiting to take his pill. Once you get the packet open there are no holes inside the pellets for you to place the medication in. There are two pellets in each mini packet and those are inside the larger packet so it's just way too much packaging and not a user-friendly package at all. I would not recommending this because if you don't want to spend two to three minutes standing there trying to get these open and then trying to stick your pill in then don't waste your time. Sorry to the company. I really was looking forward to having these and having my dog enjoying these but they are not convenient at all.

No More Wrestling with my Dog at Pill Time!
This item is exactly what I needed after trying several other types of pill pockets for my dog… I finally found one at the pill actually fits in. My dog gets a large pill monthly, and he hates it. I usually end up shoving my arm down his throat to make sure that he takes it.These pill pockets are a dream! They are extra large. I can fit large capsules and tablets in the pill pockets. For smaller or normal sized pills I can use half a pill pocket and save the other half for later. On top of everything, my dogs love them! They would like them just for treats, but they only get them at pill time… That keeps it extra special!

A chicken-free way to deliver meds.
Four of our five dogs have allergies for chicken, one seriously so. Unfortunately, there are *very* few dog products--food, snack, etc.--that are 100% free of chicken and/or byproducts. These are and the dogs love them. Each pill pocket looks like an "old school" Tootsie roll, though with only two sections. It's a very soft and pliable product, so it's easy to shove pills and capsules alike into them. My highly allergic dog gets a human-sized capsule every night, either in these or wrapped inside Pet MD's Wrap-A-Pill (also chicken-free and great for ALL meds).
