The fabric was very thick and heavy which surprised me. I just wish the stitching were a tad better. But overall, no complaints and the hat was excellent, slightly bent feather,but I was able to get a replacement in time for the Harry Potter event I attended in Chicago with my son.

Great product, but after reading reviews about it's sizing - I sized up. I normally wear an XL because of my bust, but ordered a XXXL just in case. I figured I could take it in, glad I did. Even THAT was cutting it close. It will be okay, but this is definitely Asian sizing. It is certainly beautiful and quality fabric however. It's gonna look great for Halloween!

Good quality, a real crushed velvet texture. Only the inside looks a bit shiny like it might not be a true high quality costume, however it isn’t plastic and appears like a satin most of the time. I am a very small person and I was delighted when the xs fit fairly well, only just slightly big.

I cannot tell you how happy I was with this. Nice fabric and well made for costuming! I wore it to a Harry Potter party and got tons of compliments.

This is made for flat chested women. I normally take a medium size shirt, so I ordered a large. The bottom fit, however, the top was way too small. I don’t feel like returning the item, too much hassle, so I will wear a black top and let the front hang open and pin about 6 inches below the buttons to cover the rest of my body.

I was asked by my daughter to be Professor McGonagall to her Hermoine this past Halloween. I needed a cloak and found this on Amazon. I read the reviews and I agree about sizing up. There is a little bit of stretch but not much. Definitely size up for comfort. I am 5’4 and it was a touch long for me but it didn’t drag on the floor. The color is beautiful- a rich green and the buttons have it a great touch. It clasps shut and does not easily open. I highly recommend this if you are dressing as McGonagall or some kind of witch!

I ordered this cloak for my Professor McGonagall costume. I ordered a 2x and it’s a bit snug in the shoulders/chest but it worked. I wore it all day at school and received many compliments. I would say it runs small as I usually can get by with an XL in most jackets and tops. I’m 5’7. It was quit wrinkled so just be prepared to address that before wearing it out!
