Shades

The London Times described it as "a quirky romantic comedy," but in fact it's neither a comedy nor romantic. It's a wistful, elegiac film about people who find that they can re-visit their lives, but heartbreakingly cannot fix the things that went wrong before they died.

I love The Two of them Together they are good Actors , But Not in This Movie. it isn't What I expected , it's kind of a weird movie. but Better then " Hotel Splendide ' for Sure.

This isn't going to win any award but it was light entertaiment on an otherwise boring evening. The story line was good as was the actors.

I enjoyed this series quite a bit, but can't say that I loved it. I thought the concept was brilliant.

Sort of sad, not what I expected

This was a mystery series they had on PBS and I searched years for it online. It was not available, even in the UK on DVD. Actually, it just had a different name in the UK. But it has been like ten years give or take and they finally gave it a different title and brought it to the US, calling it SHADES. It is a fantastic movie with the two major characters being the two major characters on the British Drama, Ballykissangel until the third or fourth season when they killed one of them off. They always had an amazing chemistry. VERY HAPPY WITH IT!!!

I remember watching this series many years ago, and I have been looking for it ever since. The series contains humour, pathos, longing for the past, and working through past loves and hates.Remembering one episode in particular makes me very sad because of the poignancy of the situation. If you haven't seen the series, I'll give you a hint: the protagonists can be remembered ONLY while they are the sight of the person looking at them. Once they move from that person's line of sight, they are forgotten.So, roll on 14 February 2012 - this is on my MUST BUY list.

Didn't work in my region. I didn't think that would be a problem nowadays.

I bought this set because of the lead actors (being a Ballykissangel fan). The story line was a bit "out there" but I still enjoyed it. It's one of those movies that might make you say "Maybe this is what happens" after you see it. You have to watch it with an open mind.

Two great actors in a fascinating spiritual story.
