I wish it came in a single piece but it comes in two strips.

Tape came in two pieces 4 feet each - I didn't expected that. Also the adhesive doesn't stick very well. The first piece has a little extra piece on the end after 48 inches, and the second piece has a little piece at the beginning, so both pieces must be trimmed to fit. When I trimmed both sides to size and connected them, the next day the tape shrunk, and the sides were 1/8" apart from each other. So much for precise measuring. Part of the tape came off already. I had to press it back. I'm not sure how long it will stay. It may be easier to buy a regular tape and staple it in.
