The Artist Who Painted a Blue Horse Board book – Picture Book, October 3, 2013

What a creative way to teach your child colors and animals. I love this book and so does my son. We even bought the plush blue horse at Kohl’s.

My 1 and 2 year old love this book! The story is super simple to follow along and it helped them learn their colors. My son now refers to himself as an artist since he too loves to paint. Great purchase.

This is one of the first books I bought my newborn and I then bought it for my nieces and nephew. It's simple, beautiful, and colorful, and my child loves looking at the pictures. I also love looking at them, to be honest. It's also a book that can be chewed on without being totally destroyed. My teething child definitely tried to take a chunk out of it, but it resisted! Beautiful book.

What a sweet story

Being an art lover, hobby artist, this is a fabulous book and one your 1-3 year old can tote around and it will hold up to being read over and over. A variety of illustrations is so good for young minds to see that there are many ways to illustrate and illuminate a story. Recommend....kids love bright colors...and Blue Horses....that's Fun!

Got this for my little Grandson who loves Eric Carole books.

It's a good book to learn colors, but there is absolutely no story. It starts something like, " I am an artist who paints blue horses," then you turn the page and it says, " and (color) (animal)," and on it goes. The paintings are wonderful, as all Eric Carle paintings are, and for that alone I would purchase this book. Just know that you are buying a book to learn colors from awesome paintings, and not a book with a story line.
