CioksDC-4 Power Supply

It's very portable, can easily fit on any pedalboard, and can be powered by a USB charger or powerbank.There's a great feature that shutdowns any output if there's a short circuit (e.g. because of a bad cable), without damaging the PSU. Once the issue is solved, the output will light up and work again.

I got this for a few outdoor and crowded bar cover band gigs where I knew the power was a little rough. =I coupled this with a cellphone battery, velcroed it to my Ghostfire pedal board (way underrated boards) and couldn't be happier. The addition of the daisy chain (use for dirt and boost) is great. It is a completely noise free solution.

Excellent add-on for the Cioks DC7 (to power a total of 11 pedals). This unit includes 4 Isolated and balanced power outputs that you can customize 9, 12, 15, and 18-volts. Simple connections and the package includes a nice selection of Flex cables. Fits nicely under my PedalTrain board (like it was made for it!). Very pleased.

AMAZING as expected from Cioks

Does exactly what it said it does, and what I expected it to. I use it as a standalone PSU for my bass pedal board, as I only have 4 pedals.

If you're looking for good, noiseless power supply, you can not beat these! NO Added buzz! The adjustable features are amazing if you are running different power needs for your pedals. I highly recommend it!

I ordered this because the product details toted it could be powered by "USB-C, just like a tablet". This is not true. I've had two of these and both didn't turn on when connected to an original Apple 5V USB-C iPad charger, on a new Apple MBP USB-C charger. I even tested other USB-C cables with the chargers but it didn't work. I ended up buying a generic 24V 4A laptop charger and now the DC4 works like a charm. I'm disappointed by the misleading advertising, but overall, the size and functionality are great for my small pedalboard (with the right power supply). A word to CIOKS - I searched everywhere on your website for a recommendation on a solid 24/18V power charger (that fit the description in the DC4 manual) and couldn't find any. I think it's a good idea for you to either recommend or offer a reliable one yourselves.

You absolutely CAN power this distro via USB C, but your USB C power supply has to have a USB C PD output (look it up if you don't know what that is). Why would Cioks lie about this? Wish I could respond to that other reviewerOtherwise, awesome device. Just killed a bunch of noise in my setup, and provided a quick and easy solution for one 12v device in the chain.
