Tupperware Square Modular Mates Seal in Passion Red

Fit 35 year old baking Tupperware containers. Containers are still fine. Tops were beginning to crack.

I sold Tupperware for years and Modular mate containers I’ve had for 30 yr! My cabinets are all done with these and labeled! They will last forever. Sometimes the lids crack but that happened 25 yrs later so I replaced it and it matched my colors. You won’t be disappointed

When I bought Tupperware years ago - the big selling point was replacement parts would be replaced free if they became faulty, cracked or did not hold a tight seal. I have several lids that have cracked but just too expensive to replace. I have had so many Tupperware parties through the years - to many to count or remember. I no the damaged pieces of Tupperware were melted down and made into the various smaller items to give away at the home parties - they were fun to get and a wide range of colors. That being said - this red square lid is for a container that I use a lot and the four corners have all cracked so I was forced to buck up the money and buy this one, which fits really tight but serves the purpose - but still annoyed about the cost of it!!!

I bought the lids because my old Tupperware lids cracked. I was told by local Tupperware people that I could turn the old lids in for new ones, but that it wouldn't be a priority because the sellers wouldn't make any money. So I decided to buy off Amazon for not only the availability, but the ease at which my order would be filled. I received the order very timely. The lids do seem to be heavier in construction and perhaps that is why the price is a bit more than I wanted to pay, but at least they work and I can use the containers again now that I have lids.

My old lid had become brittle and broke. While I know Tupperware stands behind its products for a lifetime, I didn't want to go through the warranty steps. I purchased this lid by comparing the item number stamped on the old one with this lid. They matched. The lid fits perfectly and is not brittle.

I have a few tupperware containers that I use for storing flour and sugar must be 25 years old at least. I hate to toss out anything that is still functional, so when the lids on two of my 5.5 liter containers cracked, I hoped I could find new ones as the containers themselves were still in good shape. These lids fit just fine. Glad I found them. Maybe they'll go another 25 years??

I have a set of Tupperware square modular mates form 30+ years ago that I use all the time. The base is fine but the covers from taking them on and off for 30 years didn't hold up. I didn't consider the covers to be part of the life time warranty. I only bought 2 to try but I'll be buying about 5 more. Great product. If you don't have any, you should get some. Great for flour, white sugar, brown sugar, powdered sugar, corn starch....
