Just the right balance between price and quality; I'm really pleased. This is a really nicely made knife that sits well in the hand and is a pleasure to use, though it has taken a few cuts to get used to the leftward bias (a result of the scallops on the right?). A good purchase that I'm sure will last for a long time.UPDATE - I had a very small comment regarding the knife sheath; the supplier was on it immediately and it was really quickly resolved - I've upped this review to 5* as a result of this 'above and beyond' customer service.

I liked the choice I made. Its a really good bread knife. Its weight is helpful for an easy cut without pressure. The knife was for me, but it would have made a lovely gift in the presentation box it arrived in. Finally the service was prompt and excellent. 5 stars all round from me. Thank you. Dave

Like many people, I have been baking a lot since lockdown 1.0! The downside is the uneven ripped bread that my previous Sabatier bread knive!This knife is sharp, sturdy and feels like quality..... It is very sharp though, I did make a mess of the first chopping board by cutting into it and leaving big grooves, but the bread was uniformly cut and not ripped or swashed... And I swore a lot less!

This knife holds well. At first I was unsure of the large serration as my bread knives had always had smaller serations and it took me a while to get used to the difference but it is an excellent knife for the money, well weighted and a reasonable price for a good knife.

Took ages researching bread knives and being put off by negative reviews. In the end I gave up and took a punt on this one. Really pleased. It’s heavy and extremely sharp. Cuts straight through my home baked bread that defeated its predecessor.

I waited in for this item as I knew I had to prove my age, despite my being 70.I cannot review the knife as it was supplied unsharpened I am returning it so I am not accused of ruining it trying to sharpen it.

Purchased this bread knife to easily cut through home made bread. Not sure if having a straight knife was the correct decision as the final cut has to be with the blade on an angle. Should have gone with a curved knife instead however this knife is of good quality and cuts well just needing to get used to it.

I bought this knife after plenty of research. I wanted a knife that would cut freshly baked bread from my bread-maker. I’m really impressed. It’s beautifully presented, looks and feels great. Most importantly - it cuts perfectly. Not cheap, but worth it…
