a bit disappointing at first - but it can work
UPDATED: Changed my review to 4 stars - Labists contacted me and offered a $5 refund for the inconvenience, seeing as the case / power supply fan / heat syncs / HDMI cable etc was only $19 and most of it delivered that's a fair compensation in my book. I was able to buy an L shaped tripod bracket that holds the pi on it's "side" and therefore shoots the image in landscape, so all is not lost!I've had the camera running for 2 weeks straight, outside doing time-lapes, the fan is still working, and everything seems to be holding up just great. For the price and what you get here, it's a good deal, as long as you're aware of the camera position, and if it really bothers you, be sure you have a small camera ribbon so you aren't blocking the fan inside the case. if you're not trying to use the camera, then it's 5/5 for sure.Original review:i was really excited for this case to try out the raspi 4 with a camera. the case itself is good, decent plastic that pulls apart, and all the screws needed to install the pi and the fan, the addition of the heat sinks is also great, comes with a screwdriver, power supply, micro hdmi cable, all you will need to get the pi up and running.the issue i have comes with the camera installation, you need to install the camera with the ribbon going right over the fan, so in order to get the case closed you need to twist and fold the camera ribbon up over the usb ports and the camera itself to squeeze it in, also keep in mind the fan wires need to be tucked on the side.once installed, the camera will shoot standard landscape when the case is sitting upright, with the usb ports on the top, if you use the tripod bracket on the side of the case, your video output will be vertical due to the orientation of the lens, and there is no way around this. it made my particular project totally un-useable, because i wanted to shoot time lapse images, on a tripod, with landscape images. :(

Best case for the pi 4
This is the best case I have used for the pi 4 and that is saying something. I develop AI vision cameras and I was having troubles with cooling for our pi 4 after upgrading and using our 3d printed cases. This case is perfect for the application as it houses a camera perfectly and allows the pi to run fairly cool. I would recommend scraping the thermal paste off the heat sinks and replacing with some pc thermal paste like arctic cool. It makes a measurable difference but will probably not be necessary for most consumers. Overall 5/5 fit my needs perfectly and will most likely fit yours as well.

Average Quality Case that Gets the Job Done
This was the first case I ordered for my Raspberry Pi 4B 8GB. I ordered it because I was new at everything and did not want to spend a lot of money, but I needed something with a power supply unit to use a the pi board I got for Christmas. The Pros:It gets the job done and does well keeping the pi cool (Using it as for a Minecraft Server, pi-hole DNS, and running the full Raspbian OS at the same time never got the temp above 50 degrees Celsius -- averaged about 42-44 most of the time). Another beneficial thing is that it came with a diagram for connecting the fan, which is great if you are new to raspberry pi.The Cons:The quality of the plastic is not that great as it chipped on one of the edges as a put it together the first time, but you get what you pay for. The case also does not come with a cover for the hole where the camera module would sit -- if you're not planning to buy the camera module, this might not be the best case for you.I probably won't order this case again, but I'll keep the one I have as a backup or spare.

Mostly awesome
This case is cool. I later realized I wanted the Pi camera, and then I realized this case has a cutout for it--no screws required! Seems sturdy enough, and they include heat sinks and a fan in case you actually use your Pi for real work.Oh, the fan. Well, I run my Pi 24/7 as a little always-on computer/server/whatever, and the fan didn't last too long. The fan was loud to begin with, then started getting louder. So I picked up a 4-pack of fans (https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07QJ4MS2L/) and installed one today. Day 1: MUCH QUIETER! We'll see if this lasts longer.I'd buy this case again but I'd be prepared to replace the fan.

Excellent for twitter cam or streaming projects
The internal camera mount is this products secret power. I've set up a twittercam with this, and ordered a spare for a future project. I appreciate the camera lens being set back in the case a bit, but that does leave me using a pair of tweezers to adjust focus when I set it up. Once it's set though, it is solid. I've dropped it a couple of times and nothing shook loose. One caveat, once you put the lid on you don't have access to the GPIO pins. I got around this by drilling a hole in the case to route my wires in.

good case for the raspberry pi 4
the fan that comes with the kit eventually becomes noisy after in use for awhile so i left it removed. the raspberry pi works fine without it for my purposes. I liked this case since it has a hole for a pi camera if I decided to get it.the pi 4 board fit inside the case just fine. the heat sinks were easy to install.its a good kit if you are starting out and need all the things included for your raspberry pi 4

Great case, accessories meh
The case is a great compact case with accessories that make it a good choice for a starter case. It is roomy enough for a POE HAT and fan.The biggest complaint is that the included fan's barring started to go four days in (96 hours of use) and was EXTREMELY loud. Ended up replacing it with another fan.

A great little container for my Pi-4
This seems to be a nice way to protect your Pi-4 board from damage! Like the overall design. Jury is still out as to whether the fan will be adequate. I had no problem putting it together, after seeing the instructions online under the product description at their website. Everything clicked together. I like that it is small enough that the case fits in my front shirt pocket.
