10PCS Body Piercing Needles 20G Gauge Sterilized Surgical Steel

I was worried about piercing my own ears, the needles didn’t hurt at all and was so easy to get through. At first I thought I needed to get a bigger gauge needle, turns out I had pulled on my ear when piercing and the front and back weren’t aligned properly. If this can help anyone because I wasn’t aware, put a cotton ball behind your ear to hold it in place while you push rather than pulling to get tension.

I bought 20 gauge but the hole was too small to fit 20 gauge earrings.Anyways I'm giving 4 stars because they're sharp and the piercings themselves were easy. biggest con: Fitting the earring into the hole after the needle was painful and hard work.

I got these needles thinking they would make my at home piercing a safer experience but they were not sharp enough at all. I also doubt that the gauge was right, as the hollow part only let me put in 20g instead of 18g earrings. Not a good quality product and not safe either.

I ordered 18g needles and received 20g needles that are all labeled "18g." I'm lucky to have sensed that the sizing was off and tested a 20g piece of jewelry in the end of the needle *before* it went through someone's skin. What an incredible pain in the butt. Order from a different manufacturer.
