Lexmark 40G0110 Wireless Monochrome Printer

A great, super-high resolution laser printer that is fast with lots of features. A bit clumsy and over-involved in putting in settings, and I still can't find the way to print one-sided by default (I have to do it manually when needed), and it's hard to figure out how to use anything but the main paper tray, but it's fast and exceptionally good print quality - true 1200 (not interpolated).

Learning the ins and outs of this printer can take some time. I have been disappointed by little black dots appearing on some of my printings. I'm using the OEM toner cartridge but I still get the dots from time to time. The online troubleshooting is only so helpful so my advice is to (in this order) increase the DPI to at the very least 1200 and then to regularly clean the toner canister and imaging unit with a microfiber towel. That seems to improve printing quality for a noticeable period of time.Now that the negatives are out of the way, the positives are that this printer is very fast and efficient for the price. The replacement toner, imaging unit, and consumables are not very expensive and last a long time between needing to be swapped out. The printer has a good selections of add-ons that you can use to customize your setup to your needs. I use the printer for a small tax practice that does about 500-600 returns per year aside from other printings. The printer keeps up to the task without issue and the quality and speed of the print jobs are better than most printers in a similar price range. As long as it is properly maintained, you'll get great service out of this printer.

We purchased this printer from Printer Ready Corporation as an emergency backup. We finally needed to use the printer , and as we unboxed it , we found it to be all in pieces . The pictures show how poorly it was refurbished. We never expected to have to inspect the product on arrival due to it's professional refurbished guarantee . This company should be ashamed of themselves for hiding there refurbished products in plenty of plastic wrap to keep everything together.

Printer works great so far.

The only reason I gave it 4 out of 5 is because I already am running into paper jams and I have not even owned it six months. I was told by a printer guy it may be the cheap paper so I upgraded to premium and still gets jammed. Easy to dislodge just pain when it interrupts work flow. Other than that very fast and awesome print quality. It does not take up a lot more space then my other slower smaller printer. Very happy with it.

Item arrived and failed immediately after first power up. Paper tray makes a horrific grinding noise and will not load paper. After looking over the unit further I found loose toner in different parts of the unit and there are several cosmetic blemishes on the outside of it. Mind you not one print has been made as the unit has to be shut off to stop the grinding noise made after inserting the paper tray. To me this unit is clearly "USED" and is being advertised as new. I have started the return process and will update my review after seeing how that goes.'

This printer has never ever worked for us not even once since purchased new in January for our busy pharmacy....We paid the biggest price $999.99 I think and we are so busy we are just figuring out where this one came from and if it can be sent back...NO, WE NOW CANNOT SEND BACK AND WILL HAVE TO THROW THIS IN THE DUMPSTER.
