Great for open ended play - wonderful customer service
We are loving this set. I know there have been some negative comments about the lack of directions - but it is meant to be an open ended play toy. At first my son wanted to find directions to follow but when they didn't exist he started playing around and ended up really getting into a very extended play session using only his own ideas. He loves Legos too, but I have always struggled to get him to do anything other than follow the directions to build each set - I actually appreciated that no directions were available. I also contacted the company with a couple of questions about the product and was very impressed with their customer service - they were quick to respond both via email and phone. When I mentioned I was a teacher they even sent me some free product to try at school - our gifted and talented teacher is super excited to start using this product with some of his small groups. Very impressed with the company.

Not that exciting
This product is just "okay". We thought it would be amazing, but it didn't really live up to the hype. Our 5 and 8 year old boys played with it for a few days at Christmas, then it lost its appeal (as opposed to the Lego they got at the same time).
