WOW - I mean, they lived up to my needs and then some. I was easily able to grab the seized/rusted bolt for my Peloton bike's seat-post and turn it with control. The extra long handle provided a ton of mechanical advantage so I could get a super strong grip and use smaller movements to exert way more pressure.The one gripe I have is on the right-angle one, that one jaw moves, the other is stationary and because of pivot point of the moving jaw, it doesn't maintain an ideal jaw opening. so the base of the curved opening kinda ends up sticking out over the curve on the stationary side. Also the jaw doesn't open very far. Maybe could grip something about 1" max, IF you're lucky. my item was about 3/4" (about 17-18mm) and for that it was perfect.The needle-nose type one seems to work just as well.The grips are comfortable.The release mechanism works well.All-in-all I think these are well worth it to have.If they ever give out, I'll be back to update the review. So far they seem super sturdy for what they do

Generous long reach but jaws do not open as wide as you sometimes might need. But they do have a powerful grip as you would expect from vice-grip design. Plastic overmolded hand grips improve comfort. Not a tool I use very often, but really helps in certain confined long-reach situations. These are a good alternative to long handled needle nose pliers and various double jointed long reach pliers.

Was using a cheaper version of these but I won't go back. These are solidly made and work well for heat treating knives. I would definitely purchase again.

My husband had been searching for vice grips like these. He was frustrated because he just couldn't find the right length and sturdiness combined. Well good old amazon came to the rescue! (actually I did LoL) I pulled up to he app and searched. Within 2 seconds we found these. Great price and work well for him. A nice addition to his garage tool box.

For what you pay these are great locking pliers! They take surprisingly little force to get a strong hold on something and the linkage going to the jaws doesn’t flex even though it’s pretty long. These are great if you need to keep hold of a bolt head way down the side of an engine while the nut is torqued and you can’t get a wrench on it (yeah I know that’s not a great way to hold a bolt).
