Praher E-12-S2 Top/Side Mount Valve 5-Spoke Spider Gasket

Not much to be said about this. I was having a problem with repeated bouts of algae blooms this past summer. That's not usually a problem for me. It appears the gasket is to blame. The original gasket, some 5 or more years old was worn out. We ordered this one. It arrived in good time. It fits well and I haven't had an algae bloom since installing it so I expect it's doing it's job just fine.

Ordered from Pogue Supply and was delivered next day by Prime.Based on the packaging it’s impossible to know whether or not it’s genuine.Installed it in a Praher SM20-A0. Works fine.

This was very difficult to apply and did not arrive with any suggestions but after we were able to successfully attach it It is working great and doing its job!

Replaced this slider gasket and it didn’t fix the leak. Went to the local pool store and got the one they sell and it fixed it right up.

I had the classic seeping backwash sound when I moved the multiport back to rinse or filter. A small amount of water was continuing to backwash. Googling around I found it was this spidery looking thing that gets worn out or stretched. I bought this one from Amazon with Prime International shipping, said it would take up to two weeks. Took 5 days. No more leaking backwash. I used a youtube video to fix it. The price of these in Australia can be offensive. Just make sure you check your manufacturer's diagrams for the exact gasket part number. I almost bought the wrong one, which is probably why some reviews on here say things don't fit.
