These work ok, but are very costly! I wish they came with more in a box to cut cost. When I use a new cartridge, I like to take the biobeads out and put in back into the filtering unit in the back if the tank for extra biological filtration!

Love the filters. They are exactly what I need for my tank. The pet stores in my area seldom have these. I'm so glad I can order them from this company and get them quickly.

I did not know with the original cartridges that came with my filter that you should let them soak in a glass of water prior to inserting the cartridge into the filter it's self. I let ours soak in a glass of clean water before inserting into the filter.

The challenge is to find a filter / filter unit combo that works, when the two are from different sources. These filters work well for ~ 1 month and are easily changed. Price on Amazon much better than local fish stores.

The product was what I needed, these are hard to find, I’ll probably be ordering again.
