It does the job but you may have to alter your trailer

Very Convenient
LIke the single key for both devices, dislike the relatively soft metals used which make it easy to cut and defeat if left in a high risk location. Keep an eye on your trailer when using this set.

Nice kit
nice kit. I can easily pick the lock with a paper clip for less than 30 seconds but still gives some level of secure

Too small a ball for 2-5/16 hitch Could easily knock it off
It feels strong but way to small for a 2-5/16 ball. One good whack with a hammer and it will peel right off hitch. Not sure what to do with it.

Good decent value for a pretty complete trailer lock set

Want total security? well your probably going to spend as much as your trailer cost you.Locks are mostly deterrents and low hanging fruit swatters if a hard pro wants your stuff. he is getting your stuff. Had a guy try to take my classic car with a roll back. no security except the luck of I saw him light up a cig in the dark is going to stop that kind of determination :-)but 99.9% of criminals are not that bright. looking for easy cash and an easy snatch or smash and grab. this kind of lock set is VERY effective at that and THAT is what most of us really need.Got a race trailer with a half million dollar car and tools in the back? you probably want more than this. but for most of us. perfectly good enough.its a 3 piece set. the angled pin lock keeps your draw bar attached to your hitch. if they can't unlock the trailer they might try to take the whole thing trailer and draw bar and simply pin it into their own hitch. that stops that.its also dual sized which is really slick. thick and thin and the lock fits onto the locking pin that is on both ends. really neat idea! I almost missed that.the other 2 parts are for in tow and not in tow. when the trailer is not in tow you stick the big red lock unit into your coupler as if its going onto your car. When the trailer is "in tow" that obviously won't work and that is what the pad lock is for. instead of a security pin to keep your trailer coupler from popping loose you replace the pin with the pad lock. Now they can't simply uncouple the trailer and they can't slide your entire draw bar out and steal it that way.99.9% of thieves will look at that and simply keep walking. too much work too much risk and THAT is what locks are mostly for. deterrence. keep walking bub. find easier prey. and that is what they do.Overall a pretty decent deal for a pretty complete lock set and its all keyed alike and you get 4 keys. Nice.

Kit of trailer theft deterrent devices
I like the TOWSMART ANTI-THEFT LOCK KIT for the COUPLER has the lock and key insert on the top lighter bar instead of attached to the heavier ball part. The lock slides onto the “U” section with ball without the key. This is easy to install. The lock is added security.In my opinion this is not a heavy duty kit. It is a theft deterrent. For the casual thief seeing both a Ball Blocking Coupler and a Lock 🔐 they will move on. This kit serves that purpose.Recommended Four ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ StarThank you for looking at my review. Keeps honest people honest
This trailer lock kit is a good value. Get all three at once. The slip in ball lock works good on my big utility trailer. Most lock mechanisms want work on this style of hitch. This works good and easy to install. The padlock works good on lever type hitches. In the past I used regular locks, which fit tight and hard to install. The locking hitch pin has a different size on each end. Which allows it to be used on different hitches, with different size holes. Being able to lock my trailer gives me a piece of mind.

Very Nice and Also Very Secure
The trailer locks came with four keys, which is exceptionally convenient. The trailer ball lock works perfectly on my large trailers, and also on my smaller trailers. The hitch lock has two sizes with a tip for using the lock on both sides on the other side of the curve. I use the other lock as a door lock on my enclosed trailer, which works great, especially since they all have the same key.I'm very happy with this trailer lock system.
