Instant comfort!
I’m suffering with trigger finger in my middle finger on my right hand. It came on quite quickly really and is very painful as the day progresses. I’ve made an appointment to see my GP but am having to wait 5 weeks for even a telephone appointment. I had used a Dr Arthritis product before when I tore the MCL in my left knee, so I know it’s capabilities and comfort. I had no hesitation in ordering, for this new condition, another relevant product. It arrived the following day and whilst I don’t feel the need to use it first thing in a morning, as the day progresses I do need the relief of keeping my finger fairly immobile to relieve the pain discomfort. It really does help - as the day progresses my finger will lock in a bent position if I forget whilst going about everyday activities ie ironing, wringing out clothes etc, making the bed. It is painful but the splint stops me completely bending my finger and also reminds me to ‘take care’. It keeps the finger joints warm too and is extremely comforting and comfortable. I’m not saying it will completely heal the problem but until I see a GP to gain other medical advice it is helping me cope with day to day activities.

Easy to use, and helped my strained finger
Used on my 1st finger which was hurting at the first finger joint. I needed something to 'rest' it, but still needed to be able to use it. This was perfect for this.I could put it on both ways, with support on top of finger (which gave the joint a little flexibility and made it better able to type) or support underneath finger (which kept the finger most rested). I liked this flexibility of use.It helped my finger and after a few weeks of use I don't need it any more. My finger is not completely better, but I don't need to use the support any more and expect it to eventually completely recover on its own.It is uncomfortable to use the support tied too tightly, so if I was doing something energetic with my hands (ie. think aerobics) the support could fly off my hand. This is no fault of the device though. Also, as I took it on and off as needed, because it is a dark colour and quite small, I was forever losing it, again no fault of the device. I would advise to buy two supports if you think this could happen to you.I liked the black colour as it didn't show the dirt - I garden a lot, have an allotment and am forever doing things with my hands, so this was a godsend.

Great help!
Really comfortable and breathing. My hand didn't sweat in this. Comfortable enough to work in it, physically all day. That was really good buy. Supporting frame, goes exactly where is needed - perfectly designed. Been a lot of help with my under thumb tendonitis.I would say pink is cute, but don't stay clean for long. Would buy black next time.

Too long for the pinky finger
Too long for the pinky finger. Not a real splint as it allows some bending. Fastening is stiff and uncomfortable. Seller refunded money promptly.

Decent splint, and in pink!
A splint was recommended by my physio for de Quervain's Syndrome. As my wrist /hand was taking a long time to heal, I was looking for a splint in pink - why not?! This also turned out to be a really good splint, well constructed with good padding. The velcro was really secure too but didn't catch on clothes which stops spoiling the fabrics. The booklet that came with the splint was helpful and well written. Overall a really decent product, and in pink!!

Very effective for the relief of pain I'm the thumb
The only downside to this support is that it's slightly uncomfortable underneath where the strap threads through over the wrist. The plastic digs in the bone of my wrist and becomes very sore after a few hours use.I have managed to fix the problem by sliding a small piece of sponge under the strap to stop it rubbing. Now I have done this, it is the best thumb support I've bought... and I have many!Much better than the ones that just cover the thumb with a strap round the wrist.Very effective when it comes to pain relief. It immobilises the thumb and also protects it.The support adjusted well to fit my hand and it is very well made.Comes with a very informative booklet which was useful.Price is fair for how good it is. All in all a great effective support for thumb pain.
