Coming from a ChargePoint Home, I've been astounded at all the features of this charger. Time limit, energy limit, current limit, and down to the minute scheduled charging are all features I've been wanting, and all of them work great on this charger. Scheduled charging on the ChargePoint had always been hit or miss, and their support seemed willing to help initially but had given up on me.The charger is very responsive to start/pause commands from the web page. They offer an iOS app in Test Flight, but it's really the same as the web version. If you want access to it outside your home network, you can simply setup port forwarding on your router. However, I haven't found a way to enable authentication so it is open to everyone at the moment.I enabled the Emoncms energy monitoring and it works great. You can graph all the parameters of charging which is neat. I haven't setup MQTT integration but that could be useful for me if I wanted to limit the charge rate based upon my solar panel output.Overall, I'm very impressed with this charger and its excellent value.

Where do I start? The price *may* possibly be a bit higher than some Chinese off-brand chargers that have the same output, but this absolutely tops everything else I've seen for sale on Amazon as regards features, build quality and customer support. And the price comes in very close, if not under other brands regardless. Has everything the OpenEVSE has, for less cost and faster shipping - speaking of shipping this arrived way faster than Amazon promised, always a nice suprise!While some people may not use all the features packed into this device, I personally found the wifi connectivity and advanced communication features extremely cool! Being able to type in an IP address from any device without needing an app installed, and having full control and status information right there at your fingertips is awesome.If you know what your doing from a tech perspective, you can do some really cool stuff using MQTT, which is sorta like an instant messaging protocol if you aren't familiar. After a little bit of learning how MQTTT works, and some very excellent tech support from the manufacturer, I was able to send messages to the GoPlug which control the charging output. Using some home automation, and the data obtained from my solar panels, I made the charging output scale with available solar power.

The media could not be loaded.  I have had this power supply for a few weeks. At first I had it connected to a standard 115v outlet and being able to connect with it via my phone I could select how many amps is a really nice feature. I have now added a sub panel in my garage so I can now take advantage on 2nd stage charging and now in 3 hours I'm at full charge. With having a nice long cord I dont have to back my car in to reach as my pug is at the back of my car. I had a problem connecting to the app, at first and customer service was quick to respond to my questions and the owner gave me his cell phone so I could call with any questions. I WOULD GIVE THIS PRODUCT AN A+++ for design and customer service.

Very solid unit. It does not require an app or computer to adjust the settings, it can all be done on the unit, adjusting current and setting up a schedule. You can take it on the go and plug anywhere without a need to hook into wifi like other units. Mine came with travel cable which allows unit to be plugged into 110v outlet.

Easy install. Charges the car faster by far than my old charger in our old house. Both were 40amp but this is substantially faster for some reason. Personal assistance from Don who built the unit was great. Very attentive & speedy response.

This one works for both 120V and 240V which is perfect for me (included adapter). Simple App but enough information in terms of a charger, such as temperature, amp, total kilowatt). Note that the outlet cord is flexible so therefore I do have more options to arrange this charger on the wall. Also like their customer service which was quick to respond.

Just received my GoPlug Pro 40 and so far I'm loving it.Good build quality and easy set up.The service so far is phenomenal, when I opened the box I found the plastic holster had been broken in shipping, gave them a jingle and a new one is on the way.

The team at GoPlug have been awesome to work with. The product is solid, easy/quick to install and works without any issues. Highly recommend!
