Simple operation, works, zoom is good.
Excellent torch for the price. Zoom feature is very useful and the torch on/off not funky flashing or half bright. Good bit of kit.

Impressive
From the reviews i had a feeling it would be bright. And it really is! I'm using Panasonic rechargeables which aren't the best for this use.My use case for it is to continue walking my dog in the forest and open heath so I need it to light up a big area sideways and ahead so as I can see where my dog veers off to.Fortunately, it performs really well casting a bright wide light. It lights up pretty well 20 metres ahead on wide-angle setting but then focusing it to the square light it has a useful reach of about 70 metres (the beam will reach 100m). On medium setting, it is enough for close by illumination. The strobing function is utterly useless so it lost a star for that. It should have at least been the SOS morse code.Physically, it's a small lightweight torch that easily fits in your jacket pocket. It's easily operated with full clicks for on and off and half clicks for each function - strong, medium and useless strobe.I will test the battery life on the heath which is a 30 min walk and update.Update:My rechargeable batteries don't last very long like others have said. I can do about four 30 min walks with the light on full and medium combined but better batteries will obviously do better.

Perfect, if just for your glove box.
The media could not be loaded. This was a 'keep it in the car just in case' torch purchase. Wasn't expecting anything too special, but after fitting batteries (Duracell) I was happily surprised. Considering it's size, it really is bright and is actually 300 lumens, not 275 lumens as advertised, so don't be silly and look at the lens end and click it on......but we all know you will! You can also change the focus and it's solidly built. At first, I did feel a little hard done by as the instructions don't explain how to switch to each illumination mode. I found out accidentally and by pure luck, hence the posted video. I'm 51 and shouted out, 'NO WAY' when I figured it out.

Very bright!
This is a great torch for the money, and very compact. It takes 3 AAA batteries (not included). There are three settings (selected by lightly pressing the on/off switch in succession). Full brightness is very bright indeed, almost miraculously so, although the information sheet indicates this will drain the batteries in 2 hours. Medium brightness is still surprisingly bright for a torch of this size, and the batteries will apparently last 13 hours on this setting. The third setting, strobe, seems to me to be a pointless gimmick, but then I'm 70 and find such things not so much exciting as migraine inducing. The lens can be adjusted to provide a range from a wide-angle beam for general illumination, to a tight, search-light type beam for picking out more distant objects. The build quality seems fine, and I recommend this product.

Nice bit of kit.
Great wee torch, especially for the price. As ever on Amazon, "tactical" means it's got different modes and the on/off button is on the base instead of the barrel. The modes are fine, and easily cycled between via a half press on the on/off button. The build quality is excellent: solid bits of metal and even the lense is a chunky bit of kit, easily slid backnforth to focus the beam....Which is where this comes into its own: on widest beam it throws great light to about a 10m arc 20m in front of you, and is pretty good out to about 50m. But when you focus it in, I swear you can see the future! The square shape of the LED means the focused beam is a solid block of light, and you can easily see a 10m square at about 150m.Nice bit of kit.
