Oregon Scientific Wireless Indoor/Outdoor Thermometer W/ Dual Alarm Clock

I position this small, (4-1/2"x 2-1/2"), silver colored, plastic thermometer, permanently atop my home desk with the sensor for outside temps just outside, on the windowsill. I look at the inside/outside readings first thing in the morning. One glance, and I know how to dress and prepare for the day, weather wise. This gadget even has an "ice alert!" It's nice to be able to compare inside temps, as well. So far, the reading on this unit concurs with our home's wall thermometer, which assures accuracy.

I like them…I dropped one and and it stopped working and subsequently discovered the are no longer available.

Don't waste your money. I have owned two of these and they both quit working after less than six months. The problem is with the outside sending unit. I changed batteries, reset it and even changed channels. Once in a while it would work not both have since given up completely.

Worked well for several days, then the outside transmitter stopped working. But what did expect since I had to order a used one, rather than new (since they don't make this style anymore, and I needed one compatible with my old one)? Since I had bought the exact same model years earlier, I can say that I would have given it 5 stars if new; I loved it. (Someone should tell Amazon.com that the picture they posted of this thing is upside down, though! At least, it still is as of April 11, 2017.)

Great item and a good value. works great , it's my secound one, have one at my house and one in our Motorhome. Like to keep an eye on the hi & lows.

I have own this Thermometer for over a year. Works great till now, haven't change battery yet. I love it and buy some more for my family & friend.Great product for the price.
