Samsung Plasma TV
The remote for the older Samsung plasma TV in our guest room suddenly stopped working. Amazon to the rescue. Arrived within days and all buttons work perfectly with the TV right out of the box.

Basically a good unit - but...
Bought one in 2022 to replace original unit with TV that croaked. It has basically lasted till now - but the channel switches seem to be loosing contact with the circuit board or something - requires extremely hard pressure to make contact for the channels to change. The other switches are still good because they aren't used as much than the channels switches. I took it apart and gently cleaned the switch contacts with the circuit board, which helped some. However, because they are soft plastic, they are being mashed flat when the channel is changed., and now they are back to being hard to get contact on the board - so I ordered another unit. For $7, it's a economic switch out. But the manufacturer could make the plastic contacts on the switches slightly harder so that they don't mash flat after a couple of years of use.

A good replacement of the original but not perfect
Replaced the original remote for my Samsung TV when it stopped working (very surprised that the TV outlasted the remote). We only use it for the TV. All the buttons except for caption (to turn it on and off ) doesn’t work. I can still turn on caption but have to go thru menu. Since we don’t have it connects to other devices, such as DVD, I don’t know whether those buttons for Rew, Stop, Play/Pause, FF work or not. Otherwise, the remote works well.

replaced my original remote as it had a couple of problems with function buttons. This replacement works great, just like the old one did when it was new.
