I eagerly boiled a pound of elbow pasta, drained it, and added the magic to the pan to mix first - a stick of butter, a cup of milk, and 1 cup of this cheesy powdery goodness.Cook down the sauce, mixing any lumps away, and add the pasta. Heat until coated and warm - and yeah, the remaining sauce didn't thicken. I'm actually good with this since that means it will reheat as a sauce, not a clump. Score.I ate a bowlful. Then another. I mean, I was hungry, but the flavor! Better than the blue box, not as artificial tasting - and normally "fake orange coated carbs" is a food group for me, so that's saying something.I've gone through two of the 1# containers embarrassingly fast, so I caved and went for the more cost-effective 25# box.Twenty. Five. Pounds. That's a lot of cheese powder, in case it didn't fully register. I've now packed my freezer with containers of it to pull out and use as needed. Yum.

I love this cheese powder for making mac 'n cheese! It tastes just like the "blue box" version. Really good. I gave it a low score because it came in a plain bag, not in a labeled box, no instructions, no markings of any kind. If this is the first time you have ordered Big Daddy Mac Mix, you will have no idea how to prepare it! Not only that, how can you tell if they sent you the right stuff and not just plain cheese powder? Didn't get a shipping list, nothing in the box but the bag of cheese powder. Pretty disappointing.Note: I improved from rating because the product is really tasty BUT I am still very disappointed in the packaging and the lack of instructions or label.

This cheese powder is AMAZING. It's like the blue box stuff you loved when you were little, but better. We bought this huge box and split it up into smaller bags that we vacuum sealed for freshness, and we open one bag at a time, transfer to a canister, and use it up on noodles and popcorn. We have also shared some of the bags with friends and family and everyone who has tried it LOVES it! the best part for me is you can make it with quality noodles (not the mushy noodles that mac n cheese out of a box usually consists of) and you can add more powder to accommodate added veggies like broccoli. We generally boil some organic italian noodles, throw in frozen broccoli about 4 min before the noodles are done, drain, and add about a cop of this powder, a stick of butter, and a splash milk or water from the pasta, mix vigorously, and serve, maybe even with some melted hoop/cheddar over the top. So easy and delicious! You cannot go wrong!!

I have to eat gluten free. This is my go to product to make mac & cheese and any dinner that needs cheese. Economical, tasty, and loved by my kids & extended family.

My kids absolutely love this Mac and cheese powder! I can make two pounds of macaroni noodles and it will all be fine within a couple days. It tastes so much better than the boxed stuff!

I absolutely love this powdered cheese! A few months ago I decided to purchase in bulk since there wasn’t any 1 or 2lb cans available. I food saved a bunch and gave some to friends and they like it too! Will definitely buy again.
